Zep 1:2 I will utterly consume all things from off the land, saith the LORD. (kjv)	Zep 1:2 "I will completely remove all things From the face of the earth," declares the Lord.	Zeph.1:2 Ich will alles aus dem Lande wegnehmen, spricht der HERR.
Zep 1:3 I will consume man and beast; I will consume the fowls of the heaven, and the fishes of the sea, and the stumbling blocks with the wicked: and I will cut off man from off the land, saith the LORD. (kjv)	Zep 1:3 "I will remove man and beast; I will remove the birds of the sky And the fish of the sea, And the ruins along with the wicked; And I will cut off man from the face of the earth," declares the Lord.	Zeph.1:3 Ich will Menschen und Vieh, Vögel des Himmels und Fische im Meer wegnehmen samt den Ärgernissen und den Gottlosen; ja, ich will die Menschen ausreuten aus dem Lande, spricht der HERR.
Zep 1:4 I will also stretch out mine hand upon Judah, and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and I will cut off the remnant of Baal from this place, and the name of the Chemarims with the priests; (kjv)	Zep 1:4 "So I will stretch out My hand against Judah And against all the inhabitants of Jerusalem. Zeph.1:4 Ich will meine Hand ausstrecken über Juda und über alle, die zu Jerusalem wohnen; also will ich das übrige von Baal ausreuten, dazu den Namen der Götzenpfaffen und Priester aus diesem Ort;
Zep 1:5 And them that worship the host of heaven upon the housetops; and them that worship and that swear by the LORD, and that swear by Malcham; (kjv)	Zep 1:5 "And those who bow down on the housetops to the host of heaven, And those who bow down and swear to the Lord and yet swear by Milcom,	Zeph.1:5 und die, so auf den Dächern des Himmels Heer anbeten; die es anbeten und schwören doch bei dem HERRN und zugleich bei Milkom;
Zep 1:6 And them that are turned back from the LORD; and those that have not sought the LORD, nor enquired for him. (kjv)	Zep 1:6 And those who have turned back from following the Lord, And those who have not sought the Lord or inquired of Him."	Zeph.1:6 und die vom HERRN abfallen, und die nach dem HERRN nichts fragen und ihn nicht achten.
Zep 1:7 Hold thy peace at the presence of the Lord GOD: for the day of the LORD is at hand: for the LORD hath prepared a sacrifice, he hath bid his guests. (kjv)	Zep 1:7 Be silent before the Lord God! For the day of the Lord is near, For the Lord has prepared a sacrifice, He has consecrated His guests.	Zeph.1:7 Seid still vor dem HERRN HERRN, denn des HERRN Tag ist nahe; denn der HERR hat ein Schlachtopfer zubereitet und seine Gäste dazu geladen.
Zep 1:8 And it shall come to pass in the day of the LORD's sacrifice, that I will punish the princes, and the king's children, and all such as are clothed with strange apparel. (kjv)	Zep 1:8 "Then it will come about on the day of the Lord's sacrifice That I will punish the princes, the king's sons And all who clothe themselves with foreign garments.	Zeph.1:8 Und am Tage des Schlachtopfers des HERRN will ich heimsuchen die Fürsten und des Königs Kinder und alle, die ein fremdes Kleid tragen.
Zep 1:9 In the same day also will I punish all those that leap on the threshold, which fill their masters' houses with violence and deceit. Zeph.1:9 Auch will ich zur selben Zeit die heimsuchen, so über die Schwelle springen, die ihres HERRN Haus füllen mit Rauben und Trügen.
Zep 1:10 And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD, that there shall be the noise of a cry from the fish gate, and an howling from the second, and a great crashing from the hills. (kjv)	Zep 1:10 "On that day," declares the Lord, "There will be the sound of a cry from the Fish Gate, A wail from the Second Quarter, And a loud crash from the hills.	Zeph.1:10 Zur selben Zeit, spricht der HERR, wird sich ein lautes Geschrei erheben von dem Fischtor her und ein Geheul von dem andern Teil der Stadt und ein großer Jammer von den Hügeln.
Zep 1:11 Howl, ye inhabitants of Maktesh, for all the merchant people are cut down; all they that bear silver are cut off. (kjv)	Zep 1:11 "Wail, O inhabitants of the Mortar, For all the people of Canaan will be silenced; All who weigh out silver will be cut off.	Zeph.1:11 Heulet, die ihr in der Mühle wohnt; denn das ganze Krämervolk ist dahin, und alle, die Geld sammeln, sind ausgerottet.
Zep 1:12 And it shall come to pass at that time, that I will search Jerusalem with candles, and punish the men that are settled on their lees: that say in their heart, The LORD will not do good, neither will he do evil. (kjv)	Zep 1:12 "It will come about at that time That I will search Jerusalem with lamps, And I will punish the men Who are stagnant in spirit, Who say in their hearts, 'The Lord will not do good or evil!'	Zeph.1:12 Zur selben Zeit will ich Jerusalem mit Leuchten durchsuchen und will heimsuchen die Leute, die auf ihren Hefen liegen und sprechen in ihrem Herzen: Der HERR wird weder Gutes noch Böses tun.
Zep 1:13 Therefore their goods shall become a booty, and their houses a desolation: they shall also build houses, but not inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, but not drink the wine thereof. (kjv)	Zep 1:13 "Moreover, their wealth will become plunder And their houses desolate; Yes, they will build houses but not inhabit them, And plant vineyards but not drink their wine."	Zeph.1:13 Und ihre Güter sollen zum Raub werden und ihre Häuser zur Wüste. Sie werden Häuser bauen, und nicht darin wohnen; sie werden Weinberge pflanzen, und keinen Wein davon trinken.
Zep 1:14 The great day of the LORD is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly. Zeph.1:14 Des HERRN großer Tag ist nahe; er ist nahe und eilt sehr. Wenn das Geschrei vom Tage des HERRN kommen wird, so werden die Starken alsdann bitterlich schreien.

Zep 1:17 And I will bring distress upon men, that they shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the LORD: and their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung. Zeph.1:17 Ich will den Leuten bange machen, daß sie umhergehen sollen wie die Blinden, darum daß sie wider den HERRN gesündigt haben. Ihr Blut soll ausgeschüttet werden, als wäre es Staub, und ihr Leib als wäre es Kot.

Zeph.1:18 Es wird sie ihr Silber und Gold nicht erretten können am Tage des Zorns des HERRN, sondern das ganze Land soll durch das Feuer seines Eifers verzehrt werden; denn er wird plötzlich ein Ende machen mit allen, die im Lande wohnen.
Zep 2:1 Gather yourselves together, yea, gather together, O nation not desired; (kjv)	Zep 2:1 Gather yourselves together, yes, gather, O nation without shame,	Zeph.2:1 Sammelt euch und kommt her, ihr feindseliges Volk,
Zep 2:2 Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the LORD come upon you, before the day of the LORD's anger come upon you. (kjv)	Zep 2:2 Before the decree takes effect-- The day passes like the chaff-- Before the burning anger of the Lord comes upon you, Before the day of the Lord's anger comes upon you.	Zeph.2:2 ehe denn das Urteil ausgehe, daß ihr wie die Spreu bei Tage dahin fahrt; ehe denn des HERRN grimmiger Zorn über euch komme; ehe der Tag des Zornes des HERRN über euch komme.
Zep 2:3 Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD's anger. (kjv)	Zep 2:3 Seek the Lord, All you humble of the earth Who have carried out His ordinances; Seek righteousness, seek humility. Perhaps you will be hidden In the day of the Lord's anger.	Zeph.2:3 Suchet den HERR, alle ihr Elenden im Lande, die ihr seine Rechte haltet; suchet Gerechtigkeit, suchet Demut, auf daß ihr am Tage des Zornes des HERRN möget verborgen werden.
Zep 2:4 For Gaza shall be forsaken, and Ashkelon a desolation: they shall drive out Ashdod at the noon day, and Ekron shall be rooted up. Zeph.2:4 Denn Gaza muß verlassen und Askalon wüst werden; Asdod soll am Mittag vertrieben und Ekron ausgewurzelt werden.
Zep 2:5 Woe unto the inhabitants of the sea coast, the nation of the Cherethites! the word of the LORD is against you; O Canaan, the land of the Philistines, I will even destroy thee, that there shall be no inhabitant. (kjv)	Zep 2:5 Woe to the inhabitants of the seacoast, The nation of the Cherethites! The word of the Lord is against you, O Canaan, land of the Philistines; And I will destroy you So that there will be no inhabitant.	Zeph.2:5 Weh denen, so am Meer hinab wohnen, dem Volk der Krether! Des HERRN Wort wird über euch kommen, du Kanaan, der Philister Land; ich will dich umbringen, daß niemand mehr da wohnen soll.
Zep 2:6 And the sea coast shall be dwellings and cottages for shepherds, and folds for flocks. (kjv)	Zep 2:6 So the seacoast will be pastures, With caves for shepherds and folds for flocks.	Zeph.2:6 Es sollen am Meer hinab eitel Hirtenhäuser und Schafhürden sein.
Zep 2:7 And the coast shall be for the remnant of the house of Judah; they shall feed thereupon: in the houses of Ashkelon shall they lie down in the evening: for the LORD their God shall visit them, and turn away their captivity. (kjv)	Zep 2:7 And the coast will be For the remnant of the house of Judah, They will pasture on it. In the houses of Ashkelon they will lie down at evening; For the Lord their God will care for them And restore their fortune.	Zeph.2:7 Und dasselbe soll den übrigen vom Hause Juda zuteil werden, daß sie darauf weiden sollen. Des Abends sollen sie sich in den Häusern Askalons lagern, wenn sie nun der HERR, ihr Gott, wiederum heimgesucht und ihr Gefängnis gewendet hat.
Zep 2:8 I have heard the reproach of Moab, and the revilings of the children of Ammon, whereby they have reproached my people, and magnified themselves against their border. (kjv)	Zep 2:8 "I have heard the taunting of Moab And the revilings of the sons of Ammon, With which they have taunted My people And become arrogant against their territory.	Zeph.2:8 Ich habe das Schmähen Moabs und das Lästern der Kinder Ammon gehört, womit sie mein Volk geschmäht und auf seinen Grenzen sich gerühmt haben.
Zep 2:9 Therefore as I live, saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, Surely Moab shall be as Sodom, and the children of Ammon as Gomorrah, even the breeding of nettles, and saltpits, and a perpetual desolation: the residue of my people shall spoil them, and the remnant of my people shall possess them. (kjv)	Zep 2:9 "Therefore, as I live," declares the Lord of hosts, The God of Israel, "Surely Moab will be like Sodom And the sons of Ammon like Gomorrah" A place possessed by nettles and salt pits, And a perpetual desolation. Zeph.2:9 Wohlan, so wahr ich lebe! spricht der HERR Zebaoth, der Gott Israels, Moab soll wie Sodom und die Kinder Ammon wie Gomorra werden, ja wie ein Nesselstrauch und eine Salzgrube und eine ewige Wüste. Die übrigen meines Volkes sollen sie berauben, und die Übriggebliebenen meines Volkes sollen sie erben.
Zep 2:10 This shall they have for their pride, because they have reproached and magnified themselves against the people of the LORD of hosts. Zeph.2:10 Das soll ihnen aber begegnen für ihre Hoffart, daß sie des HERRN Zebaoth Volk geschmäht und sich gerühmt haben.
Zep 2:11 The LORD will be terrible unto them: for he will famish all the gods of the earth; and men shall worship him, every one from his place, even all the isles of the heathen. Zeph.2:11 Schrecklich wird der HERR über sie sein, denn er wird alle Götter auf Erden vertilgen; und sollen ihn anbeten alle Inseln der Heiden, ein jeglicher an seinem Ort.
Zep 2:12 Ye Ethiopians also, ye shall be slain by my sword. (kjv)	Zep 2:12 "You also, O Ethiopians, will be slain by My sword."	Zeph.2:12 Auch sollt ihr Mohren durch mein Schwert erschlagen werden.
Zep 2:13 And he will stretch out his hand against the north, and destroy Assyria; and will make Nineveh a desolation, and dry like a wilderness. Zep 2:14 And flocks shall lie down in the midst of her, all the beasts of the nations: both the cormorant and the bittern shall lodge in the upper lintels of it; their voice shall sing in the windows; desolation shall be in the thresholds; for he shall uncover the cedar work. (kjv)	Zep 2:14 Flocks will lie down in her midst, All beasts which range in herds; Both the pelican and the hedgehog Will lodge in the tops of her pillars; Birds will sing in the window, Desolation will be on the threshold; For He has laid bare the cedar work.	Zeph.2:14 daß darin sich lagern werden allerlei Tiere bei Haufen; auch Rohrdommeln und Igel werden wohnen in ihren Säulenknäufen, und Vögel werden in den Fenstern singen, und auf der Schwelle wird Verwüstung sein; denn die Zedernbretter sollen abgerissen werden.
Zep 2:15 This is the rejoicing city that dwelt carelessly, that said in her heart, I am, and there is none beside me: how is she become a desolation, a place for beasts to lie down in! every one that passeth by her shall hiss, and wag his hand.(kjv)	Zep 2:15 This is the exultant city Which dwells securely, Who says in her heart, "I am, and there is no one besides me." How she has become a desolation, A resting place for beasts! Everyone who passes by her will hiss And wave his hand in contempt.	Zeph.2:15 Das ist die fröhliche Stadt, die so sicher wohnte und sprach in ihrem Herzen: Ich bin's, und keine mehr. Wie ist sie so wüst geworden, daß die Tiere darin wohnen! Und wer vorübergeht, pfeift sie an und klatscht mit der Hand über sie.
Zep 3:1 Woe to her that is filthy and polluted, to the oppressing city! (kjv)	Zep 3:1 Woe to her who is rebellious and defiled, The tyrannical city!	Zeph.3:1 Weh der greulichen, unflätigen, tyrannischen Stadt!
Zep 3:2 She obeyed not the voice; she received not correction; she trusted not in the LORD; she drew not near to her God. (kjv)	Zep 3:2 She heeded no voice, She accepted no instruction. She did not trust in the Lord, She did not draw near to her God.	Zeph.3:2 Sie will nicht gehorchen noch sich züchtigen lassen; sie will auf den HERRN nicht trauen noch sich zu ihrem Gott halten.
Zep 3:3 Her princes within her are roaring lions; her judges are evening wolves; they gnaw not the bones till the morrow. (kjv)	Zep 3:3 Her princes within her are roaring lions, Her judges are wolves at evening; They leave nothing for the morning.	Zeph.3:3 Ihre Fürsten sind unter ihnen brüllende Löwen und ihre Richter Wölfe am Abend, die nichts bis auf den Morgen übriglassen.
Zep 3:4 Her prophets are light and treacherous persons: her priests have polluted the sanctuary, they have done violence to the law. Zeph.3:4 Ihre Propheten sind leichtfertig und Verächter; ihre Priester entweihen das Heiligtum und deuten das Gesetz freventlich.
Zep 3:5 The just LORD is in the midst thereof; he will not do iniquity: every morning doth he bring his judgment to light, he faileth not; but the unjust knoweth no shame. (kjv)	Zep 3:5 The Lord is righteous within her; He will do no injustice. Every morning He brings His justice to light; He does not fail. But the unjust knows no shame.	Zeph.3:5 Der HERR, der unter ihnen ist, ist gerecht und tut kein Arges. Er läßt alle Morgen seine Rechte öffentlich lehren und läßt nicht ab; aber die bösen Leute wollen sich nicht schämen lernen.
Zep 3:6 I have cut off the nations: their towers are desolate; I made their streets waste, that none passeth by: their cities are destroyed, so that there is no man, that there is none inhabitant. (kjv)	Zep 3:6 "I have cut off nations; Their corner towers are in ruins. I have made their streets desolate, With no one passing by; Their cities are laid waste, Without a man, without an inhabitant.	Zeph.3:6 Ich habe Völker ausgerottet, ihre Schlösser verwüstet und ihre Gassen so leer gemacht, daß niemand darauf geht; ihre Städte sind zerstört, daß niemand mehr da wohnt.
Zep 3:7 I said, Surely thou wilt fear me, thou wilt receive instruction; so their dwelling should not be cut off, howsoever I punished them: but they rose early, and corrupted all their doings. (kjv)	Zep 3:7 "I said, 'Surely you will revere Me, Accept instruction.'So her dwelling will not be cut off According to all that I have appointed concerning her. But they were eager to corrupt all their deeds.	Zeph.3:7 Ich ließ dir sagen: Mich sollst du fürchten und dich lassen züchtigen! so würde ihre Wohnung nicht ausgerottet und der keines kommen, womit ich sie heimsuchen werde. Aber sie sind fleißig, allerlei Bosheit zu üben.
Zep 3:8 Therefore wait ye upon me, saith the LORD, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy. (kjv)	Zep 3:8 "Therefore wait for Me," declares the Lord, "For the day when I rise up as a witness. Indeed, My decision is to gather nations, To assemble kingdoms, To pour out on them My indignation, All My burning anger; For all the earth will be devoured By the fire of My zeal.	Zeph.3:8 Darum, spricht der HERR, müsset ihr mein auch harren, bis ich mich aufmache zu seiner Zeit, da ich auch rechten werde und die Heiden versammeln und die Königreiche zuhauf bringen, meinen Zorn über sie zu schütten, ja, allen Zorn meines Grimmes; denn alle Welt soll durch meines Eifers Feuer verzehrt werden.
Zep 3:9 For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the LORD, to serve him with one consent. Zep 3:10 From beyond the rivers of Ethiopia my suppliants, even the daughter of my dispersed, shall bring mine offering. Zeph.3:10 Man wird mir meine Anbeter, mein zerstreutes Volk, von jenseit des Wassers im Mohrenlande herbeibringen zum Geschenk.
Zep 3:11 In that day shalt thou not be ashamed for all thy doings, wherein thou hast transgressed against me: for then I will take away out of the midst of thee them that rejoice in thy pride, and thou shalt no more be haughty because of my holy mountain. (kjv)	Zep 3:11 "In that day you will feel no shame Because of all your deeds By which you have rebelled against Me; For then I will remove from your midst Your proud, exulting ones, And you will never again be haughty On My holy mountain.	Zeph.3:11 Zur selben Zeit wirst du dich nicht mehr schämen alles deines Tuns, womit du wider mich übertreten hast; denn ich will die stolzen Heiligen von dir tun, daß du nicht mehr sollst dich überheben auf meinem heiligen Berge.
Zep 3:12 I will also leave in the midst of thee an afflicted and poor people, and they shall trust in the name of the LORD. (kjv)	Zep 3:12 "But I will leave among you A humble and lowly people, And they will take refuge in the name of the Lord.	Zeph.3:12 Ich will in dir lassen übrigbleiben ein armes, geringes Volk; die werden auf des HERRN Namen trauen.
Zep 3:13 The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: for they shall feed and lie down, and none shall make them afraid. (kjv)	Zep 3:13 "The remnant of Israel will do no wrong And tell no lies, Nor will a deceitful tongue Be found in their mouths; For they will feed and lie down With no one to make them tremble."	Zeph.3:13 Die übrigen in Israel werden kein Böses tun noch Falsches reden, und man wird in ihrem Munde keine betrügliche Zunge finden; sondern sie sollen weiden und ruhen ohne alle Furcht.
Zep 3:14 Sing, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel; be glad and rejoice with all the heart, O daughter of Jerusalem. (kjv)	Zep 3:14 Shout for joy, O daughter of Zion! Shout in triumph, O Israel! Zep 3:15 The LORD hath taken away thy judgments, he hath cast out thine enemy: the king of Israel, even the LORD, is in the midst of thee: thou shalt not see evil any more. Zeph.3:15 denn der HERR hat deine Strafe weggenommen und deine Feinde abgewendet. Der HERR, der König Israels, ist bei dir, daß du dich vor keinem Unglück mehr fürchten darfst.

Zep 3:18 I will gather them that are sorrowful for the solemn assembly, who are of thee, to whom the reproach of it was a burden. (kjv)	Zep 3:18 "I will gather those who grieve about the appointed feasts" They came from you, O Zion; The reproach of exile is a burden on them.	Zeph.3:18 Die Geängsteten, so auf kein Fest kommen, will ich zusammenbringen; denn sie gehören dir zu und müssen Schmach tragen.
Zep 3:19 Behold, at that time I will undo all that afflict thee: and I will save her that halteth, and gather her that was driven out; and I will get them praise and fame in every land where they have been put to shame. Zeph.3:19 Siehe, ich will's mit allen denen aus machen zur selben Zeit, die dich bedrängen, und will den Hinkenden helfen und die Verstoßenen sammeln und will sie zu Lob und Ehren machen in allen Landen, darin man sie verachtet.
Zep 3:20 At that time will I bring you again, even in the time that I gather you: for I will make you a name and a praise among all people of the earth, when I turn back your captivity before your eyes, saith the LORD.(kjv)	Zep 3:20 "At that time I will bring you in, Even at the time when I gather you together; Indeed, I will give you renown and praise Among all the peoples of the earth, When I restore your fortunes before your eyes," Says the Lord.	Zeph.3:20 Zu der Zeit will ich euch hereinbringen und euch zu der Zeit versammeln. Denn ich will euch zu Lob und Ehren machen unter allen Völkern auf Erden, wenn ich euer Gefängnis wenden werde vor euren Augen, spricht der HERR.
