The new one post-merger asks for your make and zipcode. I'll tell you, I live in Michigan, and I would be reluctant to spend serious money on a 15-20-year-old-plus car that's contended with the iron moths that munch on sheet metal during the Winter months up here. I used to be able to search by region or state, as well as zipcode, and I could get a better feel for what's out there. It's not as if we buy a car every day, or month, or year, so a nice drive to the Southeast or a quick flight to the Southwest or Texas was always in the cards when it came time to hunt down a car. Not now. I have to dig out my zipcode directory or search google for, as an example from the list today, Rhode Island and zip code. So, it's harder to look at those sweet, salt-free 300SDLs that are waiting just for me down South. Oh, well. /end-rant Jack in Ann Arbor, MI ===================================================== A tenor came back early from a recital tour. We are so SOL with 124 lighting. I think replacement reflector+lens unit was around 75 bucks per side. Going Euro can get very complicated if you have headlight wipers on US lights. The euro-headlight wipers sweep the other way, and they stick through the panel under the headlight in a different spot. Hmm. Add this to the list that already has blower motors as parts that are much easier to work on in a 123 than in a 124.
