Day - 045 - Numbers 16-18
Num 16:1 Now Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, and Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On, the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben, took men: Num 16:1 Now Korah the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, with Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben, took action, Num 16:1 καὶ ἐλάλησεν Κορε υἱὸς Ισσααρ υἱοῦ Κααθ υἱοῦ Λευι καὶ Δαθαν καὶ Αβιρων υἱοὶ Ελιαβ καὶ Αυν υἱὸς Φαλεθ υἱοῦ Ρουβην
Num 16:2 And they rose up before Moses, with certain of the children of Israel, two hundred and fifty princes of the assembly, famous in the congregation, men of renown: Num 16:2 and they rose up before Moses, together with some of the sons of Israel, two hundred and fifty leaders of the congregation, chosen in the assembly, men of renown. Num 16:2 καὶ ἀνέστησαν ἔναντι Μωυσῆ καὶ ἄνδρες τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ πεντήκοντα καὶ διακόσιοι ἀρχηγοὶ συναγωγῆς σύγκλητοι βουλῆς καὶ ἄνδρες ὀνομαστοί
Num 16:3 And they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said unto them, Ye take too much upon you, seeing all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the LORD is among them: wherefore then lift ye up yourselves above the congregation of the LORD? Num 16:3 They assembled together against Moses and Aaron, and said to them, "You have gone far enough, for all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the Lord is in their midst; so why do you exalt yourselves above the assembly of the Lord?" Num 16:3 συνέστησαν ἐπὶ Μωυσῆν καὶ Ααρων καὶ εἶπαν ἐχέτω ὑμῖν ὅτι πᾶσα ἡ συναγωγὴ πάντες ἅγιοι καὶ ἐν αὐτοῖς κύριος καὶ διὰ τί κατανίστασθε ἐπὶ τὴν συναγωγὴν κυρίου
Num 16:4 And when Moses heard it, he fell upon his face: Num 16:4 When Moses heard this, he fell on his face; Num 16:4 καὶ ἀκούσας Μωυσῆς ἔπεσεν ἐπὶ πρόσωπον
Num 16:5 And he spake unto Korah and unto all his company, saying, Even to morrow the LORD will shew who are his, and who is holy; and will cause him to come near unto him: even him whom he hath chosen will he cause to come near unto him. Num 16:5 and he spoke to Korah and all his company, saying, "Tomorrow morning the Lord will show who is His, and who is holy, and will bring him near to Himself; even the one whom He will choose, He will bring near to Himself. Num 16:5 καὶ ἐλάλησεν πρὸς Κορε καὶ πρὸς πᾶσαν αὐτοῦ τὴν συναγωγὴν λέγων ἐπέσκεπται καὶ ἔγνω ὁ θεὸς τοὺς ὄντας αὐτοῦ καὶ τοὺς ἁγίους καὶ προσηγάγετο πρὸς ἑαυτόν καὶ οὓς ἐξελέξατο ἑαυτῷ προσηγάγετο πρὸς ἑαυτόν
Num 16:6 This do; Take you censers, Korah, and all his company; Num 16:6 Do this: take censers for yourselves, Korah and all your company, Num 16:6 τοῦτο ποιήσατε λάβετε ὑμῖν αὐτοῖς πυρεῖα Κορε καὶ πᾶσα ἡ συναγωγὴ αὐτοῦ
Num 16 7 And put fire therein, and put incense in them before the LORD to morrow: and it shall be that the man whom the LORD doth choose, he shall be holy ye take too much upon you, ye sons of Levi. Num 16:7 and put fire in them, and lay incense upon them in the presence of the Lord tomorrow; and the man whom the Lord chooses shall be the one who is holy. You have gone far enough, you sons of Levi!" Num 16:7 καὶ ἐπίθετε ἐπ᾽ αὐτὰ πῦρ καὶ ἐπίθετε ἐπ᾽ αὐτὰ θυμίαμα ἔναντι κυρίου αὔριον καὶ ἔσται ὁ ἀνήρ ὃν ἂν ἐκλέξηται κύριος οὗτος ἅγιος ἱκανούσθω ὑμῖν υἱοὶ Λευι
Num 16:8 And Moses said unto Korah, Hear, I pray you, ye sons of Levi: Num 16:8 Then Moses said to Korah, "Hear now, you sons of Levi, Num 16:8 καὶ εἶπεν Μωυσῆς πρὸς Κορε εἰσακούσατέ μου υἱοὶ Λευι
Num 16:9 Seemeth it but a small thing unto you, that the God of Israel hath separated you from the congregation of Israel, to bring you near to himself to do the service of the tabernacle of the LORD, and to stand before the congregation to minister unto them? Num 16:9 is it not enough for you that the God of Israel has separated you from the rest of the congregation of Israel, to bring you near to Himself, to do the service of the tabernacle of the Lord, and to stand before the congregation to minister to them; Num 16:9 μὴ μικρόν ἐστιν τοῦτο ὑμῖν ὅτι διέστειλεν ὁ θεὸς Ισραηλ ὑμᾶς ἐκ συναγωγῆς Ισραηλ καὶ προσηγάγετο ὑμᾶς πρὸς ἑαυτὸν λειτουργεῖν τὰς λειτουργίας τῆς σκηνῆς κυρίου καὶ παρίστασθαι ἔναντι τῆς συναγωγῆς λατρεύειν αὐτοῖς
Num 16:10 And he hath brought thee near to him, and all thy brethren the sons of Levi with thee: and seek ye the priesthood also? Num 16:10 and that He has brought you near, Korah, and all your brothers, sons of Levi, with you? And are you seeking for the priesthood also? Num 16:10 καὶ προσηγάγετό σε καὶ πάντας τοὺς ἀδελφούς σου υἱοὺς Λευι μετὰ σοῦ καὶ ζητεῖτε ἱερατεύειν
Num 16:11 For which cause both thou and all thy company are gathered together against the LORD: and what is Aaron, that ye murmur against him? Num 16:11 Therefore you and all your company are gathered together against the Lord; but as for Aaron, who is he that you grumble against him?" Num 16:11 οὕτως σὺ καὶ πᾶσα ἡ συναγωγή σου ἡ συνηθροισμένη πρὸς τὸν θεόν καὶ Ααρων τίς ἐστιν ὅτι διαγογγύζετε κατ᾽ αὐτοῦ
Num 16 12 And Moses sent to call Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab: which said, We will not come up Num 16:12 Then Moses sent a summons to Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab; but they said, "We will not come up. Num 16:12 καὶ ἀπέστειλεν Μωυσῆς καλέσαι Δαθαν καὶ Αβιρων υἱοὺς Ελιαβ καὶ εἶπαν οὐκ ἀναβαίνομεν
Num 16:13 Is it a small thing that thou hast brought us up out of a land that floweth with milk and honey, to kill us in the wilderness, except thou make thyself altogether a prince over us? Num 16:13 Is it not enough that you have brought us up out of a land flowing with milk and honey to have us die in the wilderness, but you would also lord it over us? Num 16:13 μὴ μικρὸν τοῦτο ὅτι ἀνήγαγες ἡμᾶς ἐκ γῆς ῥεούσης γάλα καὶ μέλι ἀποκτεῖναι ἡμᾶς ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ ὅτι κατάρχεις ἡμῶν ἄρχων
Num 16:14 Moreover thou hast not brought us into a land that floweth with milk and honey, or given us inheritance of fields and vineyards: wilt thou put out the eyes of these men? we will not come up. Num 16:14 Indeed, you have not brought us into a land flowing with milk and honey, nor have you given us an inheritance of fields and vineyards. Would you put out the eyes of these men? We will not come up!" Num 16:14 εἰ καὶ εἰς γῆν ῥέουσαν γάλα καὶ μέλι εἰσήγαγες ἡμᾶς καὶ ἔδωκας ἡμῖν κλῆρον ἀγροῦ καὶ ἀμπελῶνας τοὺς ὀφθαλμοὺς τῶν ἀνθρώπων ἐκείνων ἂν ἐξέκοψας οὐκ ἀναβαίνομεν
Num 16:15 And Moses was very wroth, and said unto the LORD, Respect not thou their offering: I have not taken one ass from them, neither have I hurt one of them. Num 16:15 Then Moses became very angry and said to the Lord, "Do not regard their offering! I have not taken a single donkey from them, nor have I done harm to any of them." Num 16:15 καὶ ἐβαρυθύμησεν Μωυσῆς σφόδρα καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς κύριον μὴ προσχῇς εἰς τὴν θυσίαν αὐτῶν οὐκ ἐπιθύμημα οὐδενὸς αὐτῶν εἴληφα οὐδὲ ἐκάκωσα οὐδένα αὐτῶν
Num 16:16 And Moses said unto Korah, Be thou and all thy company before the LORD, thou, and they, and Aaron, to morrow: Num 16:16 Moses said to Korah, "You and all your company be present before the Lord tomorrow, both you and they along with Aaron. Num 16:16 καὶ εἶπεν Μωυσῆς πρὸς Κορε ἁγίασον τὴν συναγωγήν σου καὶ γίνεσθε ἕτοιμοι ἔναντι κυρίου σὺ καὶ αὐτοὶ καὶ Ααρων αὔριον
Num 16:17 And take every man his censer, and put incense in them, and bring ye before the LORD every man his censer, two hundred and fifty censers; thou also, and Aaron, each of you his censer. Num 16:17 Each of you take his firepan and put incense on it, and each of you bring his censer before the Lord, two hundred and fifty firepans; also you and Aaron shall each bring his firepan." Num 16:17 καὶ λάβετε ἕκαστος τὸ πυρεῖον αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐπιθήσετε ἐπ᾽ αὐτὰ θυμίαμα καὶ προσάξετε ἔναντι κυρίου ἕκαστος τὸ πυρεῖον αὐτοῦ πεντήκοντα καὶ διακόσια πυρεῖα καὶ σὺ καὶ Ααρων ἕκαστος τὸ πυρεῖον αὐτοῦ
Num 16:18 And they took every man his censer, and put fire in them, and laid incense thereon, and stood in the door of the tabernacle of the congregation with Moses and Aaron. Num 16:18 So they each took his own censer and put fire on it, and laid incense on it; and they stood at the doorway of the tent of meeting, with Moses and Aaron. Num 16:18 καὶ ἔλαβεν ἕκαστος τὸ πυρεῖον αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐπέθηκαν ἐπ᾽ αὐτὰ πῦρ καὶ ἐπέβαλον ἐπ᾽ αὐτὸ θυμίαμα καὶ ἔστησαν παρὰ τὰς θύρας τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου Μωυσῆς καὶ Ααρων
Num 16:19 And Korah gathered all the congregation against them unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and the glory of the LORD appeared unto all the congregation. Num 16:19 Thus Korah assembled all the congregation against them at the doorway of the tent of meeting. And the glory of the Lord appeared to all the congregation. Num 16:19 καὶ ἐπισυνέστησεν ἐπ᾽ αὐτοὺς Κορε τὴν πᾶσαν αὐτοῦ συναγωγὴν παρὰ τὴν θύραν τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου καὶ ὤφθη ἡ δόξα κυρίου πάσῃ τῇ συναγωγῇ
Num 16:20 And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying, Num 16:20 Then the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying, Num 16:20 καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν καὶ Ααρων λέγων
Num 16:21 Separate yourselves from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment. Num 16:21 "Separate yourselves from among this congregation, that I may consume them instantly." Num 16:21 ἀποσχίσθητε ἐκ μέσου τῆς συναγωγῆς ταύτης καὶ ἐξαναλώσω αὐτοὺς εἰς ἅπαξ
Num 16:22 And they fell upon their faces, and said, O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin, and wilt thou be wroth with all the congregation? Num 16:22 But they fell on their faces and said, "O God, God of the spirits of all flesh, when one man sins, will You be angry with the entire congregation?" Num 16:22 καὶ ἔπεσαν ἐπὶ πρόσωπον αὐτῶν καὶ εἶπαν θεὸς θεὸς τῶν πνευμάτων καὶ πάσης σαρκός εἰ ἄνθρωπος εἷς ἥμαρτεν ἐπὶ πᾶσαν τὴν συναγωγὴν ὀργὴ κυρίου
Num 16:23 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Num 16:23 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, Num 16:23 καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων
Num 16:24 Speak unto the congregation, saying, Get you up from about the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram. Num 16:24 "Speak to the congregation, saying, 'Get back from around the dwellings of Korah, Dathan and Abiram.'" Num 16:24 λάλησον τῇ συναγωγῇ λέγων ἀναχωρήσατε κύκλῳ ἀπὸ τῆς συναγωγῆς Κορε
Num 16:25 And Moses rose up and went unto Dathan and Abiram; and the elders of Israel followed him. Num 16:25 Then Moses arose and went to Dathan and Abiram, with the elders of Israel following him, Num 16:25 καὶ ἀνέστη Μωυσῆς καὶ ἐπορεύθη πρὸς Δαθαν καὶ Αβιρων καὶ συνεπορεύθησαν μετ᾽ αὐτοῦ πάντες οἱ πρεσβύτεροι Ισραηλ
Num 16:26 And he spake unto the congregation, saying, Depart, I pray you, from the tents of these wicked men, and touch nothing of their's, lest ye be consumed in all their sins. Num 16:26 and he spoke to the congregation, saying, "Depart now from the tents of these wicked men, and touch nothing that belongs to them, or you will be swept away in all their sin." Num 16:26 καὶ ἐλάλησεν πρὸς τὴν συναγωγὴν λέγων ἀποσχίσθητε ἀπὸ τῶν σκηνῶν τῶν ἀνθρώπων τῶν σκληρῶν τούτων καὶ μὴ ἅπτεσθε ἀπὸ πάντων ὧν ἐστιν αὐτοῖς μὴ συναπόλησθε ἐν πάσῃ τῇ ἁμαρτίᾳ αὐτῶν
Num 16:27 So they gat up from the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram, on every side: and Dathan and Abiram came out, and stood in the door of their tents, and their wives, and their sons, and their little children. Num 16:27 So they got back from around the dwellings of Korah, Dathan and Abiram; and Dathan and Abiram came out and stood at the doorway of their tents, along with their wives and their sons and their little ones. Num 16:27 καὶ ἀπέστησαν ἀπὸ τῆς σκηνῆς Κορε κύκλῳ καὶ Δαθαν καὶ Αβιρων ἐξῆλθον καὶ εἱστήκεισαν παρὰ τὰς θύρας τῶν σκηνῶν αὐτῶν καὶ αἱ γυναῖκες αὐτῶν καὶ τὰ τέκνα αὐτῶν καὶ ἡ ἀποσκευὴ αὐτῶν
Num 16:28 And Moses said, Hereby ye shall know that the LORD hath sent me to do all these works; for I have not done them of mine own mind. Num 16:28 Moses said, "By this you shall know that the Lord has sent me to do all these deeds; for this is not my doing. Num 16:28 καὶ εἶπεν Μωυσῆς ἐν τούτῳ γνώσεσθε ὅτι κύριος ἀπέστειλέν με ποιῆσαι πάντα τὰ ἔργα ταῦτα ὅτι οὐκ ἀπ᾽ ἐμαυτοῦ
Num 16:29 If these men die the common death of all men, or if they be visited after the visitation of all men; then the LORD hath not sent me. Num 16:29 If these men die the death of all men or if they suffer the fate of all men, then the Lord has not sent me. Num 16:29 εἰ κατὰ θάνατον πάντων ἀνθρώπων ἀποθανοῦνται οὗτοι εἰ καὶ κατ᾽ ἐπίσκεψιν πάντων ἀνθρώπων ἐπισκοπὴ ἔσται αὐτῶν οὐχὶ κύριος ἀπέσταλκέν με
Num 16:30 But if the LORD make a new thing, and the earth open her mouth, and swallow them up, with all that appertain unto them, and they go down quick into the pit; then ye shall understand that these men have provoked the LORD. Num 16:30 But if the Lord brings about an entirely new thing and the ground opens its mouth and swallows them up with all that is theirs, and they descend alive into Sheol, then you will understand that these men have spurned the Lord." Num 16:30 ἀλλ᾽ ἢ ἐν φάσματι δείξει κύριος καὶ ἀνοίξασα ἡ γῆ τὸ στόμα αὐτῆς καταπίεται αὐτοὺς καὶ τοὺς οἴκους αὐτῶν καὶ τὰς σκηνὰς αὐτῶν καὶ πάντα ὅσα ἐστὶν αὐτοῖς καὶ καταβήσονται ζῶντες εἰς ᾅδου καὶ γνώσεσθε ὅτι παρώξυναν οἱ ἄνθρωποι οὗτοι τὸν κύριον
Num 16:31 And it came to pass, as he had made an end of speaking all these words, that the ground clave asunder that was under them: Num 16:31 As he finished speaking all these words, the ground that was under them split open; Num 16:31 ὡς δὲ ἐπαύσατο λαλῶν πάντας τοὺς λόγους τούτους ἐρράγη ἡ γῆ ὑποκάτω αὐτῶν
Num 16:32 And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods. Num 16:32 and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up, and their households, and all the men who belonged to Korah with their possessions. Num 16:32 καὶ ἠνοίχθη ἡ γῆ καὶ κατέπιεν αὐτοὺς καὶ τοὺς οἴκους αὐτῶν καὶ πάντας τοὺς ἀνθρώπους τοὺς ὄντας μετὰ Κορε καὶ τὰ κτήνη αὐτῶν
Num 16:33 They, and all that appertained to them, went down alive into the pit, and the earth closed upon them: and they perished from among the congregation. Num 16:33 So they and all that belonged to them went down alive to Sheol; and the earth closed over them, and they perished from the midst of the assembly. Num 16:33 καὶ κατέβησαν αὐτοὶ καὶ ὅσα ἐστὶν αὐτῶν ζῶντα εἰς ᾅδου καὶ ἐκάλυψεν αὐτοὺς ἡ γῆ καὶ ἀπώλοντο ἐκ μέσου τῆς συναγωγῆς
Num 16:34 And all Israel that were round about them fled at the cry of them: for they said, Lest the earth swallow us up also. Num 16:34 All Israel who were around them fled at their outcry, for they said, "The earth may swallow us up!" Num 16:34 καὶ πᾶς Ισραηλ οἱ κύκλῳ αὐτῶν ἔφυγον ἀπὸ τῆς φωνῆς αὐτῶν ὅτι λέγοντες μήποτε καταπίῃ ἡμᾶς ἡ γῆ
Num 16:35 And there came out a fire from the LORD, and consumed the two hundred and fifty men that offered incense. Num 16:35 Fire also came forth from the Lord and consumed the two hundred and fifty men who were offering the incense. Num 16:35 καὶ πῦρ ἐξῆλθεν παρὰ κυρίου καὶ κατέφαγεν τοὺς πεντήκοντα καὶ διακοσίους ἄνδρας τοὺς προσφέροντας τὸ θυμίαμα
Num 16:36 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Num 16:36 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, Num 17:1 καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν
Num 16:37 Speak unto Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest, that he take up the censers out of the burning, and scatter thou the fire yonder; for they are hallowed. Num 16:37 "Say to Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, that he shall take up the censers out of the midst of the blaze, for they are holy; and you scatter the burning coals abroad. Num 17:2 καὶ πρὸς Ελεαζαρ τὸν υἱὸν Ααρων τὸν ἱερέα ἀνέλεσθε τὰ πυρεῖα τὰ χαλκᾶ ἐκ μέσου τῶν κατακεκαυμένων καὶ τὸ πῦρ τὸ ἀλλότριον τοῦτο σπεῖρον ἐκεῖ ὅτι ἡγίασαν
Num 16 38 The censers of these sinners against their own souls, let them make them broad plates for a covering of the altar: for they offered them before the LORD, therefore they are hallowed and they shall be a sign unto the children of Israel. Num 16:38 As for the censers of these men who have sinned at the cost of their lives, let them be made into hammered sheets for a plating of the altar, since they did present them before the Lord and they are holy; and they shall be for a sign to the sons of Israel." Num 17:3 τὰ πυρεῖα τῶν ἁμαρτωλῶν τούτων ἐν ταῖς ψυχαῖς αὐτῶν καὶ ποίησον αὐτὰ λεπίδας ἐλατάς περίθεμα τῷ θυσιαστηρίῳ ὅτι προσηνέχθησαν ἔναντι κυρίου καὶ ἡγιάσθησαν καὶ ἐγένοντο εἰς σημεῖον τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ
Num 16:39 And Eleazar the priest took the brasen censers, wherewith they that were burnt had offered; and they were made broad plates for a covering of the altar: Num 16:39 So Eleazar the priest took the bronze censers which the men who were burned had offered, and they hammered them out as a plating for the altar, Num 17:4 καὶ ἔλαβεν Ελεαζαρ υἱὸς Ααρων τοῦ ἱερέως τὰ πυρεῖα τὰ χαλκᾶ ὅσα προσήνεγκαν οἱ κατακεκαυμένοι καὶ προσέθηκαν αὐτὰ περίθεμα τῷ θυσιαστηρίῳ
Num 16:40 To be a memorial unto the children of Israel, that no stranger, which is not of the seed of Aaron, come near to offer incense before the LORD; that he be not as Korah, and as his company: as the LORD said to him by the hand of Moses. Num 16:40 as a reminder to the sons of Israel that no layman who is not of the descendants of Aaron should come near to burn incense before the Lord; so that he will not become like Korah and his company"just as the Lord had spoken to him through Moses. Num 17:5 μνημόσυνον τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ ὅπως ἂν μὴ προσέλθῃ μηθεὶς ἀλλογενής ὃς οὐκ ἔστιν ἐκ τοῦ σπέρματος Ααρων ἐπιθεῖναι θυμίαμα ἔναντι κυρίου καὶ οὐκ ἔσται ὥσπερ Κορε καὶ ἡ ἐπισύστασις αὐτοῦ καθὰ ἐλάλησεν κύριος ἐν χειρὶ Μωυσῆ
Num 16:41 But on the morrow all the congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron, saying, Ye have killed the people of the LORD. Num 16:41 But on the next day all the congregation of the sons of Israel grumbled against Moses and Aaron, saying, "You are the ones who have caused the death of the Lord's people." Num 17:6 καὶ ἐγόγγυσαν οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ τῇ ἐπαύριον ἐπὶ Μωυσῆν καὶ Ααρων λέγοντες ὑμεῖς ἀπεκτάγκατε τὸν λαὸν κυρίου
Num 16:42 And it came to pass, when the congregation was gathered against Moses and against Aaron, that they looked toward the tabernacle of the congregation: and, behold, the cloud covered it, and the glory of the LORD appeared. Num 16:42 It came about, however, when the congregation had assembled against Moses and Aaron, that they turned toward the tent of meeting, and behold, the cloud covered it and the glory of the Lord appeared. Num 16:44 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Num 16:44 and the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, Num 17:9 καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν καὶ Ααρων λέγων
Num 16:45 Get you up from among this congregation, that I may consume them as in a moment. And they fell upon their faces. Num 16:45 "Get away from among this congregation, that I may consume them instantly." Then they fell on their faces. Num 17:10 ἐκχωρήσατε ἐκ μέσου τῆς συναγωγῆς ταύτης καὶ ἐξαναλώσω αὐτοὺς εἰς ἅπαξ καὶ ἔπεσον ἐπὶ πρόσωπον αὐτῶν
Num 16:46 And Moses said unto Aaron, Take a censer, and put fire therein from off the altar, and put on incense, and go quickly unto the congregation, and make an atonement for them: for there is wrath gone out from the LORD; the plague is begun. Num 16:46 Moses said to Aaron, "Take your censer and put in it fire from the altar, and lay incense on it; then bring it quickly to the congregation and make atonement for them, for wrath has gone forth from the Lord, the plague has begun!" Num 17:11 καὶ εἶπεν Μωυσῆς πρὸς Ααρων λαβὲ τὸ πυρεῖον καὶ ἐπίθες ἐπ᾽ αὐτὸ πῦρ ἀπὸ τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου καὶ ἐπίβαλε ἐπ᾽ αὐτὸ θυμίαμα καὶ ἀπένεγκε τὸ τάχος εἰς τὴν παρεμβολὴν καὶ ἐξίλασαι περὶ αὐτῶν ἐξῆλθεν γὰρ ὀργὴ ἀπὸ προσώπου κυρίου ἦρκται θραύειν τὸν λαόν
Num 16:47 And Aaron took as Moses commanded, and ran into the midst of the congregation; and, behold, the plague was begun among the people: and he put on incense, and made an atonement for the people. Num 16:48 And he stood between the dead and the living; and the plague was stayed. Num 16:48 He took his stand between the dead and the living, so that the plague was checked. Num 17:13 καὶ ἔστη ἀνὰ μέσον τῶν τεθνηκότων καὶ τῶν ζώντων καὶ ἐκόπασεν ἡ θραῦσις
Num 16:49 Now they that died in the plague were fourteen thousand and seven hundred, beside them that died about the matter of Korah. Num 16:49 But those who died by the plague were 14,700, besides those who died on account of Korah. Num 17:14 καὶ ἐγένοντο οἱ τεθνηκότες ἐν τῇ θραύσει τέσσαρες καὶ δέκα χιλιάδες καὶ ἑπτακόσιοι χωρὶς τῶν τεθνηκότων ἕνεκεν Κορε
Num 16:50 And Aaron returned unto Moses unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and the plague was stayed. Num 16:50 Then Aaron returned to Moses at the doorway of the tent of meeting, for the plague had been checked. Num 17:15 καὶ ἐπέστρεψεν Ααρων πρὸς Μωυσῆν ἐπὶ τὴν θύραν τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου καὶ ἐκόπασεν ἡ θραῦσις
Num 17:1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Num 17:1 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, Num 17:16 καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων
Num 17:2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and take of every one of them a rod according to the house of their fathers, of all their princes according to the house of their fathers twelve rods: write thou every man's name upon his rod. Num 17:2 "Speak to the sons of Israel, and get from them a rod for each father's household: twelve rods, from all their leaders according to their fathers' households. You shall write each name on his rod, Num 17:17 λάλησον τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ καὶ λαβὲ παρ᾽ αὐτῶν ῥάβδον ῥάβδον κατ᾽ οἴκους πατριῶν παρὰ πάντων τῶν ἀρχόντων αὐτῶν κατ᾽ οἴκους πατριῶν αὐτῶν δώδεκα ῥάβδους καὶ ἑκάστου τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ ἐπίγραψον ἐπὶ τῆς ῥάβδου αὐτοῦ
Num 17:3 And thou shalt write Aaron's name upon the rod of Levi: for one rod shall be for the head of the house of their fathers. Num 17:3 and write Aaron's name on the rod of Levi; for there is one rod for the head of each of their fathers' households. Num 17:18 καὶ τὸ ὄνομα Ααρων ἐπίγραψον ἐπὶ τῆς ῥάβδου Λευι ἔστιν γὰρ ῥάβδος μία κατὰ φυλὴν οἴκου πατριῶν αὐτῶν δώσουσιν
Num 17:4 And thou shalt lay them up in the tabernacle of the congregation before the testimony, where I will meet with you. Num 17:4 You shall then deposit them in the tent of meeting in front of the testimony, where I meet with you. Num 17:19 καὶ θήσεις αὐτὰς ἐν τῇ σκηνῇ τοῦ μαρτυρίου κατέναντι τοῦ μαρτυρίου ἐν οἷς γνωσθήσομαί σοι ἐκεῖ
Num 17:5 And it shall come to pass, that the man's rod, whom I shall choose, shall blossom: and I will make to cease from me the murmurings of the children of Israel, whereby they murmur against you. Num 17:5 It will come about that the rod of the man whom I choose will sprout. Thus I will lessen from upon Myself the grumblings of the sons of Israel, who are grumbling against you." Num 17:20 καὶ ἔσται ὁ ἄνθρωπος ὃν ἐὰν ἐκλέξωμαι αὐτόν ἡ ῥάβδος αὐτοῦ ἐκβλαστήσει καὶ περιελῶ ἀπ᾽ ἐμοῦ τὸν γογγυσμὸν τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ ἃ αὐτοὶ γογγύζουσιν ἐφ᾽ ὑμῖν
Num 17:6 And Moses spake unto the children of Israel, and every one of their princes gave him a rod apiece, for each prince one, according to their fathers' houses, even twelve rods: and the rod of Aaron was among their rods. Num 17:6 Moses therefore spoke to the sons of Israel, and all their leaders gave him a rod apiece, for each leader according to their fathers' households, twelve rods, with the rod of Aaron among their rods. Num 17:21 καὶ ἐλάλησεν Μωυσῆς τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ καὶ ἔδωκαν αὐτῷ πάντες οἱ ἄρχοντες αὐτῶν ῥάβδον τῷ ἄρχοντι τῷ ἑνὶ ῥάβδον κατὰ ἄρχοντα κατ᾽ οἴκους πατριῶν αὐτῶν δώδεκα ῥάβδους καὶ ἡ ῥάβδος Ααρων ἀνὰ μέσον τῶν ῥάβδων αὐτῶν
Num 17:7 And Moses laid up the rods before the LORD in the tabernacle of witness. Num 17:7 So Moses deposited the rods before the Lord in the tent of the testimony. Num 17:22 καὶ ἀπέθηκεν Μωυσῆς τὰς ῥάβδους ἔναντι κυρίου ἐν τῇ σκηνῇ τοῦ μαρτυρίου
Num 17:8 And it came to pass, that on the morrow Moses went into the tabernacle of witness; and, behold, the rod of Aaron for the house of Levi was budded, and brought forth buds, and bloomed blossoms, and yielded almonds. Num 17:8 Now on the next day Moses went into the tent of the testimony; and behold, the rod of Aaron for the house of Levi had sprouted and put forth buds and produced blossoms, and it bore ripe almonds. Num 17:23 καὶ ἐγένετο τῇ ἐπαύριον καὶ εἰσῆλθεν Μωυσῆς καὶ Ααρων εἰς τὴν σκηνὴν τοῦ μαρτυρίου καὶ ἰδοὺ ἐβλάστησεν ἡ ῥάβδος Ααρων εἰς οἶκον Λευι καὶ ἐξήνεγκεν βλαστὸν καὶ ἐξήνθησεν ἄνθη καὶ ἐβλάστησεν κάρυα
Num 17:9 And Moses brought out all the rods from before the LORD unto all the children of Israel: and they looked, and took every man his rod. Num 17:9 Moses then brought out all the rods from the presence of the Lord to all the sons of Israel; and they looked, and each man took his rod. Num 17:24 καὶ ἐξήνεγκεν Μωυσῆς πάσας τὰς ῥάβδους ἀπὸ προσώπου κυρίου πρὸς πάντας υἱοὺς Ισραηλ καὶ εἶδον καὶ ἔλαβον ἕκαστος τὴν ῥάβδον αὐτοῦ
Num 17:10 And the LORD said unto Moses, Bring Aaron's rod again before the testimony, to be kept for a token against the rebels; and thou shalt quite take away their murmurings from me, that they die not. Num 17:10 But the Lord said to Moses, "Put back the rod of Aaron before the testimony to be kept as a sign against the rebels, that you may put an end to their grumblings against Me, so that they will not die." Num 17:25 καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν ἀπόθες τὴν ῥάβδον Ααρων ἐνώπιον τῶν μαρτυρίων εἰς διατήρησιν σημεῖον τοῖς υἱοῖς τῶν ἀνηκόων καὶ παυσάσθω ὁ γογγυσμὸς αὐτῶν ἀπ᾽ ἐμοῦ καὶ οὐ μὴ ἀποθάνωσιν
Num 17:11 And Moses did so: as the LORD commanded him, so did he. Num 17:11 Thus Moses did; just as the Lord had commanded him, so he did. Num 17:26 καὶ ἐποίησεν Μωυσῆς καὶ Ααρων καθὰ συνέταξεν κύριος τῷ Μωυσῇ οὕτως ἐποίησαν
Num 17:12 And the children of Israel spake unto Moses, saying, Behold, we die, we perish, we all perish. Num 17:12 Then the sons of Israel spoke to Moses, saying, "Behold, we perish, we are dying, we are all dying! Num 17:27 καὶ εἶπαν οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγοντες ἰδοὺ ἐξανηλώμεθα ἀπολώλαμεν παρανηλώμεθα
Num 17:13 Whosoever cometh any thing near unto the tabernacle of the LORD shall die: shall we be consumed with dying? Num 17:13 Everyone who comes near, who comes near to the tabernacle of the Lord, must die. Are we to perish completely?" Num 17:28 πᾶς ὁ ἁπτόμενος τῆς σκηνῆς κυρίου ἀποθνῄσκει ἕως εἰς τέλος ἀποθάνωμεν
Num 18:1 And the LORD said unto Aaron, Thou and thy sons and thy father's house with thee shall bear the iniquity of the sanctuary: and thou and thy sons with thee shall bear the iniquity of your priesthood. Num 18:1 So the Lord said to Aaron, "You and your sons and your father's household with you shall bear the guilt in connection with the sanctuary, and you and your sons with you shall bear the guilt in connection with your priesthood. Num 18:1 καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρὸς Ααρων λέγων σὺ καὶ οἱ υἱοί σου καὶ ὁ οἶκος πατριᾶς σου λήμψεσθε τὰς ἁμαρτίας τῶν ἁγίων καὶ σὺ καὶ οἱ υἱοί σου λήμψεσθε τὰς ἁμαρτίας τῆς ἱερατείας ὑμῶν
Num 18:2 And thy brethren also of the tribe of Levi, the tribe of thy father, bring thou with thee, that they may be joined unto thee, and minister unto thee: but thou and thy sons with thee shall minister before the tabernacle of witness. Num 18:2 But bring with you also your brothers, the tribe of Levi, the tribe of your father, that they may be joined with you and serve you, while you and your sons with you are before the tent of the testimony. Num 18:2 καὶ τοὺς ἀδελφούς σου φυλὴν Λευι δῆμον τοῦ πατρός σου προσαγάγου πρὸς σεαυτόν καὶ προστεθήτωσάν σοι καὶ λειτουργείτωσάν σοι καὶ σὺ καὶ οἱ υἱοί σου μετὰ σοῦ ἀπέναντι τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου
Num 18:3 And they shall keep thy charge, and the charge of all the tabernacle: only they shall not come nigh the vessels of the sanctuary and the altar, that neither they, nor ye also, die. Num 18:3 And they shall thus attend to your obligation and the obligation of all the tent, but they shall not come near to the furnishings of the sanctuary and the altar, or both they and you will die. Num 18:3 καὶ φυλάξονται τὰς φυλακάς σου καὶ τὰς φυλακὰς τῆς σκηνῆς πλὴν πρὸς τὰ σκεύη τὰ ἅγια καὶ πρὸς τὸ θυσιαστήριον οὐ προσελεύσονται καὶ οὐκ ἀποθανοῦνται καὶ οὗτοι καὶ ὑμεῖς
Num 18:4 And they shall be joined unto thee, and keep the charge of the tabernacle of the congregation, for all the service of the tabernacle: and a stranger shall not come nigh unto you. Num 18:4 They shall be joined with you and attend to the obligations of the tent of meeting, for all the service of the tent; but an outsider may not come near you. Num 18:4 καὶ προστεθήσονται πρὸς σὲ καὶ φυλάξονται τὰς φυλακὰς τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου κατὰ πάσας τὰς λειτουργίας τῆς σκηνῆς καὶ ὁ ἀλλογενὴς οὐ προσελεύσεται πρὸς σέ
Num 18:5 And ye shall keep the charge of the sanctuary, and the charge of the altar: that there be no wrath any more upon the children of Israel. Num 18:5 So you shall attend to the obligations of the sanctuary and the obligations of the altar, so that there will no longer be wrath on the sons of Israel. Num 18:5 καὶ φυλάξεσθε τὰς φυλακὰς τῶν ἁγίων καὶ τὰς φυλακὰς τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου καὶ οὐκ ἔσται θυμὸς ἐν τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ
Num 18:6 And I, behold, I have taken your brethren the Levites from among the children of Israel: to you they are given as a gift for the LORD, to do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation. Num 18:6 Behold, I Myself have taken your fellow Levites from among the sons of Israel; they are a gift to you, dedicated to the Lord, to perform the service for the tent of meeting. Num 18:6 καὶ ἐγὼ εἴληφα τοὺς ἀδελφοὺς ὑμῶν τοὺς Λευίτας ἐκ μέσου τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ δόμα δεδομένον κυρίῳ λειτουργεῖν τὰς λειτουργίας τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου
Num 18 7 Therefore thou and thy sons with thee shall keep your priest's office for everything of the altar, and within the vail; and ye shall serve: I have given your priest's office unto you as a service of gift and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death. Num 18:7 But you and your sons with you shall attend to your priesthood for everything concerning the altar and inside the veil, and you are to perform service. I am giving you the priesthood as a bestowed service, but the outsider who comes near shall be put to death." Num 18:7 καὶ σὺ καὶ οἱ υἱοί σου μετὰ σοῦ διατηρήσετε τὴν ἱερατείαν ὑμῶν κατὰ πάντα τρόπον τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου καὶ τὸ ἔνδοθεν τοῦ καταπετάσματος καὶ λειτουργήσετε τὰς λειτουργίας δόμα τῆς ἱερατείας ὑμῶν καὶ ὁ ἀλλογενὴς ὁ προσπορευόμενος ἀποθανεῖται
Num 18:8 And the LORD spake unto Aaron, Behold, I also have given thee the charge of mine heave offerings of all the hallowed things of the children of Israel; unto thee have I given them by reason of the anointing, and to thy sons, by an ordinance for ever. Num 18:8 Then the Lord spoke to Aaron, "Now behold, I Myself have given you charge of My offerings, even all the holy gifts of the sons of Israel I have given them to you as a portion and to your sons as a perpetual allotment. Num 18:8 καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Ααρων καὶ ἐγὼ ἰδοὺ δέδωκα ὑμῖν τὴν διατήρησιν τῶν ἀπαρχῶν ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν ἡγιασμένων μοι παρὰ τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ σοὶ δέδωκα αὐτὰ εἰς γέρας καὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς σου μετὰ σέ νόμιμον αἰώνιον
Num 18:9 This shall be thine of the most holy things, reserved from the fire: every oblation of theirs, every meat offering of theirs, and every sin offering of theirs, and every trespass offering of theirs which they shall render unto me, shall be most holy for thee and for thy sons. Num 18:9 This shall be yours from the most holy gifts reserved from the fire; every offering of theirs, even every grain offering and every sin offering and every guilt offering, which they shall render to Me, shall be most holy for you and for your sons. Num 18:9 καὶ τοῦτο ἔστω ὑμῖν ἀπὸ τῶν ἡγιασμένων ἁγίων τῶν καρπωμάτων ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν δώρων αὐτῶν καὶ ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν θυσιασμάτων αὐτῶν καὶ ἀπὸ πάσης πλημμελείας αὐτῶν καὶ ἀπὸ πασῶν τῶν ἁμαρτιῶν ὅσα ἀποδιδόασίν μοι ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν ἁγίων σοὶ ἔσται καὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς σου
Num 18:10 In the most holy place shalt thou eat it; every male shall eat it: it shall be holy unto thee. Num 18:10 As the most holy gifts you shall eat it; every male shall eat it. It shall be holy to you. Num 18:10 ἐν τῷ ἁγίῳ τῶν ἁγίων φάγεσθε αὐτά πᾶν ἀρσενικὸν φάγεται αὐτά σὺ καὶ οἱ υἱοί σου ἅγια ἔσται σοι
Num 18 11 And this is thine; the heave offering of their gift, with all the wave offerings of the children of Israel: I have given them unto thee, and to thy sons and to thy daughters with thee, by a statute for ever every one that is clean in thy house shall eat of it. Num 18:11 This also is yours, the offering of their gift, even all the wave offerings of the sons of Israel; I have given them to you and to your sons and daughters with you as a perpetual allotment. Everyone of your household who is clean may eat it. Num 18:11 καὶ τοῦτο ἔσται ὑμῖν ἀπαρχὴ δομάτων αὐτῶν ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν ἐπιθεμάτων τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ σοὶ δέδωκα αὐτὰ καὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς σου καὶ ταῖς θυγατράσιν σου μετὰ σοῦ νόμιμον αἰώνιον πᾶς καθαρὸς ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ σου ἔδεται αὐτά
Num 18:12 All the best of the oil, and all the best of the wine, and of the wheat, the firstfruits of them which they shall offer unto the LORD, them have I given thee. Num 18:12 All the best of the fresh oil and all the best of the fresh wine and of the grain, the first fruits of those which they give to the Lord, I give them to you. Num 18:12 πᾶσα ἀπαρχὴ ἐλαίου καὶ πᾶσα ἀπαρχὴ οἴνου καὶ σίτου ἀπαρχὴ αὐτῶν ὅσα ἂν δῶσι τῷ κυρίῳ σοὶ δέδωκα αὐτά
Num 18:13 And whatsoever is first ripe in the land, which they shall bring unto the LORD, shall be thine; every one that is clean in thine house shall eat of it. Num 18:13 The first ripe fruits of all that is in their land, which they bring to the Lord, shall be yours; everyone of your household who is clean may eat it. Num 18:13 τὰ πρωτογενήματα πάντα ὅσα ἐν τῇ γῇ αὐτῶν ὅσα ἂν ἐνέγκωσιν κυρίῳ σοὶ ἔσται πᾶς καθαρὸς ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ σου ἔδεται αὐτά
Num 18:14 Every thing devoted in Israel shall be thine. Num 18:14 Every devoted thing in Israel shall be yours. Num 18:14 πᾶν ἀνατεθεματισμένον ἐν υἱοῖς Ισραηλ σοὶ ἔσται
Num 18:15 Every thing that openeth the matrix in all flesh, which they bring unto the LORD, whether it be of men or beasts, shall be thine: nevertheless the firstborn of man shalt thou surely redeem, and the firstling of unclean beasts shalt thou redeem. Num 18:15 Every first issue of the womb of all flesh, whether man or animal, which they offer to the Lord, shall be yours; nevertheless the firstborn of man you shall surely redeem, and the firstborn of unclean animals you shall redeem. Num 18:15 καὶ πᾶν διανοῖγον μήτραν ἀπὸ πάσης σαρκός ἃ προσφέρουσιν κυρίῳ ἀπὸ ἀνθρώπου ἕως κτήνους σοὶ ἔσται ἀλλ᾽ ἢ λύτροις λυτρωθήσεται τὰ πρωτότοκα τῶν ἀνθρώπων καὶ τὰ πρωτότοκα τῶν κτηνῶν τῶν ἀκαθάρτων λυτρώσῃ
Num 18:16 And those that are to be redeemed from a month old shalt thou redeem, according to thine estimation, for the money of five shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary, which is twenty gerahs. Num 18:16 As to their redemption price, from a month old you shall redeem them, by your valuation, five shekels in silver, according to the shekel of the sanctuary, which is twenty gerahs. Num 18:16 καὶ ἡ λύτρωσις αὐτοῦ ἀπὸ μηνιαίου ἡ συντίμησις πέντε σίκλων κατὰ τὸν σίκλον τὸν ἅγιον εἴκοσι ὄβολοί εἰσιν
Num 18:17 But the firstling of a cow, or the firstling of a sheep, or the firstling of a goat, thou shalt not redeem; they are holy: thou shalt sprinkle their blood upon the altar, and shalt burn their fat for an offering made by fire, for a sweet savour unto the LORD. Num 18:17 But the firstborn of an ox or the firstborn of a sheep or the firstborn of a goat, you shall not redeem; they are holy. You shall sprinkle their blood on the altar and shall offer up their fat in smoke as an offering by fire, for a soothing aroma to the Lord. Num 18:17 πλὴν πρωτότοκα μόσχων καὶ πρωτότοκα προβάτων καὶ πρωτότοκα αἰγῶν οὐ λυτρώσῃ ἅγιά ἐστιν καὶ τὸ αἷμα αὐτῶν προσχεεῖς πρὸς τὸ θυσιαστήριον καὶ τὸ στέαρ ἀνοίσεις κάρπωμα εἰς ὀσμὴν εὐωδίας κυρίῳ
Num 18:18 And the flesh of them shall be thine, as the wave breast and as the right shoulder are thine. Num 18:18 Their meat shall be yours; it shall be yours like the breast of a wave offering and like the right thigh. Num 18:18 καὶ τὰ κρέα ἔσται σοί καθὰ καὶ τὸ στηθύνιον τοῦ ἐπιθέματος καὶ κατὰ τὸν βραχίονα τὸν δεξιὸν σοὶ ἔσται
Num 18:19 All the heave offerings of the holy things, which the children of Israel offer unto the LORD, have I given thee, and thy sons and thy daughters with thee, by a statute for ever: it is a covenant of salt for ever before the LORD unto thee and to thy seed with thee. Num 18:19 All the offerings of the holy gifts, which the sons of Israel offer to the Lord, I have given to you and your sons and your daughters with you, as a perpetual allotment. Num 18:20 And the LORD spake unto Aaron, Thou shalt have no inheritance in their land, neither shalt thou have any part among them: I am thy part and thine inheritance among the children of Israel. Num 18:20 Then the Lord said to Aaron, "You shall have no inheritance in their land nor own any portion among them; I am your portion and your inheritance among the sons of Israel. Num 18:20 καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Ααρων ἐν τῇ γῇ αὐτῶν οὐ κληρονομήσεις καὶ μερὶς οὐκ ἔσται σοι ἐν αὐτοῖς ὅτι ἐγὼ μερίς σου καὶ κληρονομία σου ἐν μέσῳ τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ
Num 18:21 And, behold, I have given the children of Levi all the tenth in Israel for an inheritance, for their service which they serve, even the service of the tabernacle of the congregation. Num 18:21 "To the sons of Levi, behold, I have given all the tithe in Israel for an inheritance, in return for their service which they perform, the service of the tent of meeting. Num 18:22 Neither must the children of Israel henceforth come nigh the tabernacle of the congregation, lest they bear sin, and die. Num 18:22 The sons of Israel shall not come near the tent of meeting again, or they will bear sin and die. Num 18:22 καὶ οὐ προσελεύσονται ἔτι οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ εἰς τὴν σκηνὴν τοῦ μαρτυρίου λαβεῖν ἁμαρτίαν θανατηφόρον
Num 18:23 But the Levites shall do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation, and they shall bear their iniquity: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations, that among the children of Israel they have no inheritance. Num 18:23 Only the Levites shall perform the service of the tent of meeting, and they shall bear their iniquity; it shall be a perpetual statute throughout your generations, and among the sons of Israel they shall have no inheritance. Num 18:23 καὶ λειτουργήσει ὁ Λευίτης αὐτὸς τὴν λειτουργίαν τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου καὶ αὐτοὶ λήμψονται τὰ ἁμαρτήματα αὐτῶν νόμιμον αἰώνιον εἰς τὰς γενεὰς αὐτῶν καὶ ἐν μέσῳ υἱῶν Ισραηλ οὐ κληρονομήσουσιν κληρονομίαν
Num 18:24 But the tithes of the children of Israel, which they offer as an heave offering unto the LORD, I have given to the Levites to inherit: therefore I have said unto them, Among the children of Israel they shall have no inheritance. Num 18:24 For the tithe of the sons of Israel, which they offer as an offering to the Lord, I have given to the Levites for an inheritance; therefore I have said concerning them, 'They shall have no inheritance among the sons of Israel.'" Num 18:25 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Num 18:25 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, Num 18:25 καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων
Num 18:26 Thus speak unto the Levites, and say unto them, When ye take of the children of Israel the tithes which I have given you from them for your inheritance, then ye shall offer up an heave offering of it for the LORD, even a tenth part of the tithe. Num 18:26 "Moreover, you shall speak to the Levites and say to them, 'When you take from the sons of Israel the tithe which I have given you from them for your inheritance, then you shall present an offering from it to the Lord, a tithe of the tithe. Num 18:26 καὶ τοῖς Λευίταις λαλήσεις καὶ ἐρεῖς πρὸς αὐτούς ἐὰν λάβητε παρὰ τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ τὸ ἐπιδέκατον ὃ δέδωκα ὑμῖν παρ᾽ αὐτῶν ἐν κλήρῳ καὶ ἀφελεῖτε ὑμεῖς ἀπ᾽ αὐτοῦ ἀφαίρεμα κυρίῳ ἐπιδέκατον ἀπὸ τοῦ ἐπιδεκάτου
Num 18:27 And this your heave offering shall be reckoned unto you, as though it were the corn of the threshingfloor, and as the fulness of the winepress. Num 18:27 Your offering shall be reckoned to you as the grain from the threshing floor or the full produce from the wine vat. Num 18:27 καὶ λογισθήσεται ὑμῖν τὰ ἀφαιρέματα ὑμῶν ὡς σῖτος ἀπὸ ἅλω καὶ ἀφαίρεμα ἀπὸ ληνοῦ
Num 18:28 Thus ye also shall offer an heave offering unto the LORD of all your tithes, which ye receive of the children of Israel; and ye shall give thereof the LORD's heave offering to Aaron the priest. Num 18:28 So you shall also present an offering to the Lord from your tithes, which you receive from the sons of Israel; and from it you shall give the Lord's offering to Aaron the priest. Num 18:28 οὕτως ἀφελεῖτε καὶ ὑμεῖς ἀπὸ τῶν ἀφαιρεμάτων κυρίου ἀπὸ πάντων ἐπιδεκάτων ὑμῶν ὅσα ἐὰν λάβητε παρὰ τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ καὶ δώσετε ἀπ᾽ αὐτῶν ἀφαίρεμα κυρίῳ Ααρων τῷ ἱερεῖ
Num 18:29 Out of all your gifts ye shall offer every heave offering of the LORD, of all the best thereof, even the hallowed part thereof out of it. Num 18:29 Out of all your gifts you shall present every offering due to the Lord, from all the best of them, the sacred part from them.' Num 18:29 ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν δομάτων ὑμῶν ἀφελεῖτε ἀφαίρεμα κυρίῳ ἢ ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν ἀπαρχῶν τὸ ἡγιασμένον ἀπ᾽ αὐτοῦ
Num 18:30 Therefore thou shalt say unto them, When ye have heaved the best thereof from it, then it shall be counted unto the Levites as the increase of the threshingfloor, and as the increase of the winepress. Num 18:30 You shall say to them, 'When you have offered from it the best of it, then the rest shall be reckoned to the Levites as the product of the threshing floor, and as the product of the wine vat. Num 18:30 καὶ ἐρεῖς πρὸς αὐτούς ὅταν ἀφαιρῆτε τὴν ἀπαρχὴν ἀπ᾽ αὐτοῦ καὶ λογισθήσεται τοῖς Λευίταις ὡς γένημα ἀπὸ ἅλω καὶ ὡς γένημα ἀπὸ ληνοῦ
Num 18:31 And ye shall eat it in every place, ye and your households: for it is your reward for your service in the tabernacle of the congregation. Num 18:31 You may eat it anywhere, you and your households, for it is your compensation in return for your service in the tent of meeting. Num 18:31 καὶ ἔδεσθε αὐτὸ ἐν παντὶ τόπῳ ὑμεῖς καὶ οἱ οἶκοι ὑμῶν ὅτι μισθὸς οὗτος ὑμῖν ἐστιν ἀντὶ τῶν λειτουργιῶν ὑμῶν τῶν ἐν τῇ σκηνῇ τοῦ μαρτυρίου
Num 18:32 And ye shall bear no sin by reason of it, when ye have heaved from it the best of it: neither shall ye pollute the holy things of the children of Israel, lest ye die. Num 18:32 You will bear no sin by reason of it when you have offered the best of it. But you shall not profane the sacred gifts of the sons of Israel, or you will die.'" Num 18:32 καὶ οὐ λήμψεσθε δι᾽ αὐτὸ ἁμαρτίαν ὅτι ἂν ἀφαιρῆτε τὴν ἀπαρχὴν ἀπ᾽ αὐτοῦ καὶ τὰ ἅγια τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ οὐ βεβηλώσετε ἵνα μὴ ἀποθάνητε
