Day - 187 - Proverbs 21-23
Pro 21:1 The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will. Pro 21:1 The king's heart is like channels of water in the hand of the Lord; He turns it wherever He wishes. Pro 22:3 A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished. Pro 22:5 Thorns and snares are in the way of the froward: he that doth keep his soul shall be far from them. Pro 22:14 The mouth of strange women is a deep pit: he that is abhorred of the LORD shall fall therein. Pro 22:21 That I might make thee know the certainty of the words of truth; that thou mightest answer the words of truth to them that send unto thee? Pro 23:4 Labour not to be rich: cease from thine own wisdom. Pro 23:4 Do not weary yourself to gain wealth, Cease from your consideration of it. Pro 23:4 μὴ παρεκτείνου πένης ὢν πλουσίῳ τῇ δὲ σῇ ἐννοίᾳ ἀπόσχου
Pro 23:5 Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not? for riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle toward heaven. Pro 23:5 When you set your eyes on it, it is gone. For wealth certainly makes itself wings Like an eagle that flies toward the heavens.
