| Isa 32:1 Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgment. | Isa 32:1 Behold, a king will reign righteously And princes will rule justly. | Isa 32:1 ἰδοὺ γὰρ βασιλεὺς δίκαιος βασιλεύσει καὶ ἄρχοντες μετὰ κρίσεως ἄρξουσιν |
| Isa 32:2 And a man shall be as an hiding place from the wind, and a covert from the tempest; as rivers of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land. | Isa 32:2 Each will be like a refuge from the wind And a shelter from the storm, Like streams of water in a dry country, Like the shade of a huge rock in a parched land. | Isa 32:2 καὶ ἔσται ὁ ἄνθρωπος κρύπτων τοὺς λόγους αὐτοῦ καὶ κρυβήσεται ὡς ἀφ᾽ ὕδατος φερομένου καὶ φανήσεται ἐν Σιων ὡς ποταμὸς φερόμενος ἔνδοξος ἐν γῇ διψώσῃ |
| Isa 32:3 And the eyes of them that see shall not be dim, and the ears of them that hear shall hearken. | Isa 32:3 Then the eyes of those who see will not be blinded, And the ears of those who hear will listen. | Isa 32:3 καὶ οὐκέτι ἔσονται πεποιθότες ἐπ᾽ ἀνθρώποις ἀλλὰ τὰ ὦτα δώσουσιν ἀκούειν |
| Isa 32:4 The heart also of the rash shall understand knowledge, and the tongue of the stammerers shall be ready to speak plainly. | Isa 32:4 The mind of the hasty will discern the truth, And the tongue of the stammerers will hasten to speak clearly. | Isa 32:4 καὶ ἡ καρδία τῶν ἀσθενούντων προσέξει τοῦ ἀκούειν καὶ αἱ γλῶσσαι αἱ ψελλίζουσαι ταχὺ μαθήσονται λαλεῖν εἰρήνην |
| Isa 32:5 The vile person shall be no more called liberal, nor the churl said to be bountiful. | Isa 32:5 No longer will the fool be called noble, Or the rogue be spoken of as generous. | Isa 32:5 καὶ οὐκέτι μὴ εἴπωσιν τῷ μωρῷ ἄρχειν καὶ οὐκέτι μὴ εἴπωσιν οἱ ὑπηρέται σου σίγα |
| Isa 32:6 For the vile person will speak villany, and his heart will work iniquity, to practise hypocrisy, and to utter error against the LORD, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and he will cause the drink of the thirsty to fail. | Isa 32:6 For a fool speaks nonsense, And his heart inclines toward wickedness: To practice ungodliness and to speak error against the Lord, To keep the hungry person unsatisfied And to withhold drink from the thirsty. | Isa 32:6 ὁ γὰρ μωρὸς μωρὰ λαλήσει καὶ ἡ καρδία αὐτοῦ μάταια νοήσει τοῦ συντελεῖν ἄνομα καὶ λαλεῖν πρὸς κύριον πλάνησιν τοῦ διασπεῖραι ψυχὰς πεινώσας καὶ τὰς ψυχὰς τὰς διψώσας κενὰς ποιῆσαι |
| Isa 32:7 The instruments also of the churl are evil: he deviseth wicked devices to destroy the poor with lying words, even when the needy speaketh right. | Isa 32:7 As for a rogue, his weapons are evil; He devises wicked schemes To destroy the afflicted with slander, Even though the needy one speaks what is right. | Isa 32:7 ἡ γὰρ βουλὴ τῶν πονηρῶν ἄνομα βουλεύσεται καταφθεῖραι ταπεινοὺς ἐν λόγοις ἀδίκοις καὶ διασκεδάσαι λόγους ταπεινῶν ἐν κρίσει |
| Isa 32:8 But the liberal deviseth liberal things; and by liberal things shall he stand. | Isa 32:8 But the noble man devises noble plans; And by noble plans he stands. | Isa 32:8 οἱ δὲ εὐσεβεῖς συνετὰ ἐβουλεύσαντο καὶ αὕτη ἡ βουλὴ μενεῖ |
| Isa 32:9 Rise up, ye women that are at ease; hear my voice, ye careless daughters; give ear unto my speech. | Isa 32:9 Rise up, you women who are at ease, And hear my voice; Give ear to my word, You complacent daughters. | Isa 32:9 γυναῖκες πλούσιαι ἀνάστητε καὶ ἀκούσατε τῆς φωνῆς μου θυγατέρες ἐν ἐλπίδι ἀκούσατε τοὺς λόγους μου |
| Isa 32:10 Many days and years shall ye be troubled, ye careless women: for the vintage shall fail, the gathering shall not come. | Isa 32:10 Within a year and a few days You will be troubled, O complacent daughters; For the vintage is ended, And the fruit gathering will not come. | Isa 32:10 ἡμέρας ἐνιαυτοῦ μνείαν ποιήσασθε ἐν ὀδύνῃ μετ᾽ ἐλπίδος ἀνήλωται ὁ τρύγητος πέπαυται ὁ σπόρος καὶ οὐκέτι μὴ ἔλθῃ |
| Isa 32:11 Tremble, ye women that are at ease; be troubled, ye careless ones: strip you, and make you bare, and gird sackcloth upon your loins. | Isa 32:11 Tremble, you women who are at ease; Be troubled, you complacent daughters; Strip, undress and put sackcloth on your waist, | Isa 32:11 ἔκστητε λυπήθητε αἱ πεποιθυῖαι ἐκδύσασθε γυμναὶ γένεσθε περιζώσασθε σάκκους τὰς ὀσφύας |

| Isa 32:13 Upon the land of my people shall come up thorns and briers; yea, upon all the houses of joy in the joyous city: | Isa 32:13 For the land of my people in which thorns and briars shall come up; Yea, for all the joyful houses and for the jubilant city. | Isa 32:13 ἡ γῆ τοῦ λαοῦ μου ἄκανθα καὶ χόρτος ἀναβήσεται καὶ ἐκ πάσης οἰκίας εὐφροσύνη ἀρθήσεται πόλις πλουσία |
| Isa 32:14 Because the palaces shall be forsaken; the multitude of the city shall be left; the forts and towers shall be for dens for ever, a joy of wild asses, a pasture of flocks; | Isa 32:14 Because the palace has been abandoned, the populated city forsaken. Hill and watch-tower have become caves forever, A delight for wild donkeys, a pasture for flocks; | Isa 32:14 οἶκοι ἐγκαταλελειμμένοι πλοῦτον πόλεως καὶ οἴκους ἐπιθυμητοὺς ἀφήσουσιν καὶ ἔσονται αἱ κῶμαι σπήλαια ἕως τοῦ αἰῶνος εὐφροσύνη ὄνων ἀγρίων βοσκήματα ποιμένων |
| Isa 32:15 Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest. | Isa 32:15 Until the Spirit is poured out upon us from on high, And the wilderness becomes a fertile field, And the fertile field is considered as a forest. | Isa 32:15 ἕως ἂν ἐπέλθῃ ἐφ᾽ ὑμᾶς πνεῦμα ἀφ᾽ ὑψηλοῦ καὶ ἔσται ἔρημος ὁ Χερμελ καὶ ὁ Χερμελ εἰς δρυμὸν λογισθήσεται |

| Isa 32:18 And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places; | Isa 32:18 Then my people will live in a peaceful habitation, And in secure dwellings and in undisturbed resting places; | Isa 32:18 καὶ κατοικήσει ὁ λαὸς αὐτοῦ ἐν πόλει εἰρήνης καὶ ἐνοικήσει πεποιθώς καὶ ἀναπαύσονται μετὰ πλούτου |
| Isa 32:19 When it shall hail, coming down on the forest; and the city shall be low in a low place. | Isa 32:19 And it will hail when the forest comes down, And the city will be utterly laid low. | Isa 32:19 ἡ δὲ χάλαζα ἐὰν καταβῇ οὐκ ἐφ᾽ ὑμᾶς ἥξει καὶ ἔσονται οἱ ἐνοικοῦντες ἐν τοῖς δρυμοῖς πεποιθότες ὡς οἱ ἐν τῇ πεδινῇ |
| Isa 32:20 Blessed are ye that sow beside all waters, that send forth thither the feet of the ox and the ass. | Isa 32:20 How blessed will you be, you who sow beside all waters, Who let out freely the ox and the donkey. | Isa 32:20 μακάριοι οἱ σπείροντες ἐπὶ πᾶν ὕδωρ οὗ βοῦς καὶ ὄνος πατεῖ |
| Isa 33:1 Woe to thee that spoilest, and thou wast not spoiled; and dealest treacherously, and they dealt not treacherously with thee! when thou shalt cease to spoil, thou shalt be spoiled; and when thou shalt make an end to deal treacherously, they shall deal treacherously with thee. | Isa 33:1 Woe to you, O destroyer, While you were not destroyed; And he who is treacherous, while others did not deal treacherously with him. As soon as you finish destroying, you will be destroyed; As soon as you cease to deal treacherously, others will deal treacherously with you. | Isa 33:1 οὐαὶ τοῖς ταλαιπωροῦσιν ὑμᾶς ὑμᾶς δὲ οὐδεὶς ποιεῖ ταλαιπώρους καὶ ὁ ἀθετῶν ὑμᾶς οὐκ ἀθετεῖ ἁλώσονται οἱ ἀθετοῦντες καὶ παραδοθήσονται καὶ ὡς σὴς ἐπὶ ἱματίου οὕτως ἡττηθήσονται |
| Isa 33:2 O LORD, be gracious unto us; we have waited for thee: be thou their arm every morning, our salvation also in the time of trouble. | Isa 33:2 O Lord, be gracious to us; we have waited for You. Be their strength every morning, Our salvation also in the time of distress. | Isa 33:2 κύριε ἐλέησον ἡμᾶς ἐπὶ σοὶ γὰρ πεποίθαμεν ἐγενήθη τὸ σπέρμα τῶν ἀπειθούντων εἰς ἀπώλειαν ἡ δὲ σωτηρία ἡμῶν ἐν καιρῷ θλίψεως |
| Isa 33:3 At the noise of the tumult the people fled; at the lifting up of thyself the nations were scattered. | Isa 33:3 At the sound of the tumult peoples flee; At the lifting up of Yourself nations disperse. | Isa 33:3 διὰ φωνὴν τοῦ φόβου σου ἐξέστησαν λαοὶ ἀπὸ τοῦ φόβου σου καὶ διεσπάρησαν τὰ ἔθνη |
| Isa 33:4 And your spoil shall be gathered like the gathering of the caterpiller: as the running to and fro of locusts shall he run upon them. | Isa 33:4 Your spoil is gathered as the caterpillar gathers; As locusts rushing about men rush about on it. | Isa 33:4 νῦν δὲ συναχθήσεται τὰ σκῦλα ὑμῶν μικροῦ καὶ μεγάλου ὃν τρόπον ἐάν τις συναγάγῃ ἀκρίδας οὕτως ἐμπαίξουσιν ὑμῖν |

| Isa 33:6 And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the LORD is his treasure. | Isa 33:6 And He will be the stability of your times, A wealth of salvation, wisdom and knowledge; The fear of the Lord is his treasure. | Isa 33:6 ἐν νόμῳ παραδοθήσονται ἐν θησαυροῖς ἡ σωτηρία ἡμῶν ἐκεῖ σοφία καὶ ἐπιστήμη καὶ εὐσέβεια πρὸς τὸν κύριον οὗτοί εἰσιν θησαυροὶ δικαιοσύνης |

Where is the scribe? where is the receiver? where is he that counted the towers? | Isa 33:18 Your heart will meditate on terror: "Where is he who counts? Where is he who weighs? | Isa 33:23 Thy tacklings are loosed; they could not well strengthen their mast, they could not spread the sail: then is the prey of a great spoil divided; the lame take the prey. | Isa 33:23 Your tackle hangs slack; It cannot hold the base of its mast firmly, Nor spread out the sail.
