It is the price you pay for the high traction soft compound and small contact area that makes the swamper so awesome off road. That is why when I stepped up to swampers I bought an extra set of wheels and only mount them when I'm wheeling. The $150 cost of wheels quickly pays for itself by not tearing up my street tires(at's) off road, and not wearing out my off road tires on the street.
