I seem to remember this being a problem but can't recall what exactly it was...sounds like an alignment and/or worn parts to me... Please e-mail her back privately. XJ lists, sorry for the "off topic" post...figured someone would have an idea because of the similarities between the XJ and ZJ steering. "Who cares about a list of junk, can you wheel it?" :o) - -----Original Message----- From: mml-at-ChE2.tamu.edu [mailto:mml-at-ChE2.tamu.edu]On Behalf Of Nicole Thomas Does anybody have any ideal about this problem, if you know PLEASE let me know. I have 94 jeep Grand cherokee limited 4X4. The problem started two months after I bought it last year in November. When you turn the steering wheel to the left, the steering who hang-up or at any given time I would lose my power steering. I took it to Country Jeep and they made it worse and now won't fix the problem anymore. They replaced the gear box and the power steering pump twice. Now it is still hard to turn to the left and when you make a right turn you have to turn the wheel around almost three times. Or if you grab the wheel when sitting and let go it bounces up and down, and this did not do it till they had two weeks ago. When driving it goes to left, I know that could be the alignment. I did by a warranty, but they won't pay until Jeep find out what is wrong, they claimed that they even called Techs from Chrysler themselves. HELP ANYONE. I just picked one up and am looking for either a 24mm or 28mm Canon lens for it. (had a 28mm Canon in '77, excellent color, but think I may want to go with the 24mm for automotive shots...) I forgot how heavy these things were. Looking forward to shooting up a roll and see how they turn out. I love the metering systems on these things. john - --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- http://www.WAGONEERS.com/ Snohomish, WA - where Jeeps don't rust, they mold... jesus, don't leave life without him, please! - -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ End of xj-digest V1 #1313 *************************
