I've had both the ignition module and an ultra coil fail, both were less than a year old, both came on a rig where the owner had recently installed them... the wires have always been great. Goodyear Aqua treads only lasting 40,000 miles with a lady driver on the street isn't all that great... 60,000 miles maybe... have your tire people clean the rims before they mount tires and you won't lose air... ;) john - --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- http://www.WAGONEERS.com/ Snohomish, WA - where Jeeps don't rust, they mold... jesus, don't leave life without him, please! - -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 3 Jan 2002 14:24:41 -0800 (PST) From: john Subject: xj: Re: powerslot brake rotors On Thu, 3 Jan 2002, sonyelec wrote: >-->Can you tell me how much you paid for your Powerslot brake rotors and where you got them? >-->Thanks. http://www.performanceproducts.com list price is $77.10 each 1.800.752.6294 they have them for Cherokees 1990-2000 and Grand Cherokees 1993-2000 (old catalog?) they were back ordered when I got mine... took several weeks. Sometimes it will diesel when shut off and it idles high in neutral. I am sure it just needs tweaking - I ordered a Weber manual that should arrive any day. What puzzles me the most is it seems to have a little trouble starting. I always have to hold down on the gas to get some in the line and when it turns over it chatters like it normally does, then wheezes, like it's catching its breath. It will do this several times before finally turning over. I've never heard any vehicle do that before and it's not on a regular basis. When it does this wheezing is also irregardless of whether the engine has warmed up or not. Are all of these problems independent of one another or symptoms of the same illness? tm 85xj - -- You can't always get what you want, but if you try sometimes, you just might find... you get what you need. ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 03 Jan 2002 22:01:36 -0800 From: john Subject: xj: Cherokee, in French... still means Jeep :) I'm not sure exactly what Fabien is saying since this isn't in English or German, but I have seen his site before, he does have both FSJ and XJs on it.
