I made the "mistake" of using the HO style injectors on a non-HO motor. My fuel economy dropped 1-2mpg, I destroyed a catalytic convertor, but it sure did move out quickly. :) I can understand not wanting to go back to iowa from colorado... had the same kind of experience in coming out to oregon/washington... glad you like colorado, may the californians find it more to their liking and move there. ;) john - - ------------------------------------------------------------------------- ** john-at-wagoneers.com via PINE on Linux ** (plain text please!) ** http://wagoneers.com ** ** http://freegift.net ** Snohomish, Washington USA - where Jeeps don't rust, they mold. ...and remember, leaving life without Jesus just isn't recommended... - - ------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 24 Mar 2002 01:24:45 -0700 (MST) From: JEEPHEAD93-at-webtv.net Subject: xj: E-brake Lines Has anyone had to relocate or replace thier e-brake cables. I have recently lifted the xj 2" more and those cables need some more slack. Are there any after market cables that are longer or are there any other applications that will work? I am currently sitting at about 5"-6" of total lift. Any input is greatly appreciated. Subject: xj: Re: E-brake Lines Steve, I went to Napa and bought two YJ right side e-brake cables for mine. PLENTY of length added and more than enough for what we need. They're about 18" longer than our stock cables. :o) I think I paid less than $14 each for them. Boy it sure generated strange looks when I asked for two Wrangler e-brake cables from the right side. To make sure there aren't compatibility issues pick the same year YJ as your XJ. HTH Phil - ----- Original Message ----- From: > Has anyone had to relocate or replace thier e-brake cables. What do you think of it now that it's done? Soon i'll be getting 36's and while I won't be running on them all the time I might run them to and from the trail if it's only a couple hrs away and would love to not have 10lbs of wheel weights around the rims. ideas?
