It would be great to get back out there again. The enviroloonies who live in cities and try to protect nature against us humans should be forced to live out in the back country sans power equipment for about a month... let 'em get back to nature without a 7-11, costco or walmart... drop 'em off right smack dab in the middle of the most remote region and see if they can find their way back out... then maybe they won't mind seeing a logging trail opened up and a 4x4 drive by every now and then. ;) Even on a 4x4 trail you can get out far enough and enjoy nature in peace and quiet... remember, not everyone drives a Jeep... ;) john >Date: Thu, 2 Jan 2003 22:39:40 -0800 >Subject: FWD: [Oregon_DSR] New Offroad Areas ?? > >I've been riding a street legal dirt bike lately. Please Help! The following post is cut and pasted from the Forum found on www.ifsj.org. It is from a fellow Jeeper in trouble and needs our help. I did not see the message posted here, so I thought I would do my very small part, help out and post it here for all to see. "A friend of all Southern Oregon Jeep Owners was Robbed on December 23 of a M-715 tow truck. It is still OD green with a small white star between the door and wheel tub, canvas top, bed is stripped off and has a tow truck unit on the back. It was stolen from Central Point Oregon. Would like to get it back for him before it disappears into parts if its not already that way. The Owners name is Ernie ~Jeep Freak! 541-621-9130 If you see it or hear of someone on the West Coast that is parting one out that you have never heard of, please let us know. Thanks If you need to see a pic of it and you can pull it up in the Nickel paper of Medford Oregon on page 5 there is a picture of it thanks again" ========================================================================== For Full Size Jeep help see: http://wagoneers.com/FSJ http://wagoneers.com/FSJ/tech - technical information http://wagoneers.com/FSJ/rigs - pictures of FSJ's http://wagoneers.com/FSJ/FSJ-list.html - FSJ list on digest.net http://wagoneers.com/FSJ/digests - list digests more info at: http://www.wagoneers.com/FSJ/FSJ-info.html ========================================================================== Snohomish, Washington, where Jeeps don't rust, they mold... remember, leaving life with out Jesus isn't recommended... ========================================================================== ------------------------------ End of xj-digest V1 #1569 *************************
