I live about 30 minutes from MK and about 1.5 hrs from London by Jeep. Milton Keynes is a new city modelled much on an American city grid layout although we have roundabouts instead of stop signs. Traffic around MK moves fairly freely as a lot of the highways outside of the city centre have 60/70mph speed limits. It's a good place to go for an evening out. I've only ever driven through Leighton Buzzard except for one Sunday when I took my kids for a ride on the historical narrow gauge railroad that runs from the town to the old sand pits. If you like motorsport, the area has three attractions within an hours drive; Silverstone (F1), Rockingham (ASCAR like NASCAR) and Santa Pod drag strip. I'm trying to organise a fun day out at Santa Pod for my Club in October, Cherokee's versus Wranglers over 1/4 mile! - --- Vincent Bentley w: http://www.jeepclub.co.uk t: +44(0)7900 437975 e: vince-at-jeepclub.co.uk - -----Original Message----- From: owner-xj-at-digest.net [mailto:owner-xj-at-digest.net] On Behalf Of john Sent: 16 September 2003 18:27 To: xj-at-digest.net Subject: Re: xj: RE: RE: RE: Bushwacker fender flares where are you at in the UK?
