Last year I had to go to the Bangor mall a few days before Christmas, and got a parking space right up front. Before that I lived in Atlanta, so I KNOW traffic. Trust me, it's worth moving to get away from the daily idiocy of too many drivers on the road. At 05:43 PM 12/2/2003 -0500, you wrote: >Nothing you can do to change other people. I drilled out the rivets that hold the actuators on, un-plugged the harness, then removed each actuator. One you get the actuator on the work-bench, you can take them apart and clean the commutator and flipm the brushes on the little motor. I did this on all four and they are working great now. Make sure you pay attention when you take them apart and re-assemble them because you can put them together backwards and they will work the wrong way. Re-installing is a little troublesome. I used pop rivets with washers. I needed washers because the hole in the actuator was too big for the rivet to grab. You also have to get a little creative to hold the washer behind the actuator holes. I used double sided tape on a screwdriver. Hope this helps - --Kurt ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 3 Dec 2003 15:56:24 -0600 From: "Mike Petersen" Subject: Re: xj: Re: Liberty rant Hey, Some of us have made the mistake of buying a Liberty for our wife because they though they were cute!!
