I had a set of those seats a while back... actually Paul might have them... or Curtis... or maybe it's Elliot, or Jim... somewhere there is a set of those leather seats floating around the US... :) Well, not only have I infected you with FSJ fever, but one of my FSJ friends with Diesel Benz fever... waiting for his announcement... :) may infect another previous FSJ owner who is also an XJ owner with the Diesel Benz fever too... of course like Jim Blair he's got Dodge/Mopar influenza... ;) maybe we should just merge the FSJ-XJ-DieselBenz list into one big happy family. :) but wait... my GMC Jimmy with the 6.2L Diesel is coming back and my XJ is going to AZ... what am I to do? I'll only have a Diesel Benz, a WJ and a GM!!! We need to get a warm front to move into Centralia so Curtis can paint SuperDawg... then I'll need to look for a nice engineless XJ and a bodyless Diesel Benz and activate the Monster Garage North... ;) ok, ok, enough already, back to work on one each Enterprise 450... a Sun server that needs the Fiber Channel activated to access the EMC disk array... Shudder... I have to install Veritas Volume Manager... I think I'd rather do an engine swap... ;) later, john On Wed, 15 Sep 2004, Black, Waylon wrote: >-->I couldn't help myself. I have a 1981 300SD that I have had for many years now finally died, well at least the transmission has. It only has first and reverse gears but the engine is still good. The engine has something like 350k miles, smokes a bit when first starts but clears up after a few minutes running. Tires are near new el-cheapos. Interior is bad, the leather seats have had much better days, the wood is all pretty good. The body isn't rusted too bad, one wrinkle in the rear passenger panel. Color is white. Rather than sell it to a junk yard I would much rather have someone who would like to fix it or at least transplant it's parts into one of it's brethren. I live in Pink Oklahoma which in 20 miles outside of Norman Oklahoma. If anybody would be interested in it for oh..say $200 or so, I would love to send it to a new home. I will be tearing apart the Jeep 727 I just got to swap the output shaft into a Mopar 727 for my son's '83 Cherokee (he's running a Dodge 360. Unfortunately for him, he didn't see a parked green car while riding his bike today and he broke the tibia in his leg and cracked his hip, so he won't be doing much the next 6 weeks) I'm thinking about getting the Mopar shaft redone to work with a Quadratrac or the Chev NP208 I have to put the Jeep 727 into my J4000 in place of the extremely tired TH400. (or I may just rebuild it as 2WD till spring, when I can redo my TH400) thanx, will pass these links to the other lists... :) john On Thu, 16 Sep 2004, Black, Waylon wrote: The aquarium valve is used to bleed off pressure so that more boost is possible.
