(of course over half that tank was commuting in Seattle and driving around Portland. :) ('91 300d) met up with Brad from the FSJ list at fry's. of course I went inside, picked up a cheap car alarm for my benz and installed it at the Lloyd Center while my wife shopped today. :) Amazing that Mall security didn't visit me... I had my dash torn apart, tools all over... :) Found another '92 white Cherokee sport along the way, emailed my daughter and she prefers it as it has a/c. So I'll be selling the other '92 sport w/o ac. It's super clean... Tempting prospect for a Diesel setup... May sell then engine/trans to a friend at work and keep the body! Will also be selling the '86 Cherokee Chief as we're making progress toward getting SuperDawg together. The Chief should come together nicely, steering column is loose, some minor electrical issues, a few rattles, clogged cat... should have it in top shape in a couple of weeks. It came back real nice from the "cleaners". When I get back I'm going to pull the driveline out of the Jimmy... oh boy, that'll be fun. :) I think I'm going build a filter assembly modelled after the Mr. Fusion upgrade on the Delorean... :) Plan on using the Jimmy's 31 gal tank where the aux tank is now on my J10 and putting the aux tank in the bed with the filter setup... I've got lots of wrenching to do at home... almost done with the '79 300SD. I'm going to pick up a replacement alternator for it if I have time. I should have the taillight installed and the trunk latching by the weekend, last two items... It's looking much better. That Porta-Power worked great, the 10-ton unit worked much better than the 4 ton unit I tried with the '80 300cd. Well, heading off line... SUSE Linux conference and drive home in the morning. Stopping to pick up the Jeep... maybe... along the way. :) My wife says I'm at the parking limit right now, so either one of you has to buy one of my projects or I'm going to hide one at the parking garage at work... ;) later, john ---- - ------------------------------------------------------------------------- ** http://wagoneers.com ** ** http://freegift.net ** Snohomish, Washington USA - where Jeeps don't rust, they mold. - ------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 18 Apr 2005 22:15:39 -0700 From: Steven Luftman Subject: Re: xj: Selling my XJ CHEEP THE RIG RUNS GREAT! If anyone wants it speak now or it's going to the wrecking yard. Pictures on request.
