I'm not sure where the moontan michael lives exactly, been swapping emails with him for some time though... may have pictures of his Jeep on my server somewhere even. :) I asked him to put an invite together specifying what he needs, where he needs it and to shoot for a June 4th Saturday... I've had folks come to my fests from states away... All it takes is one fellow jeeper that knows which end of the wrench to hold, some parts and a small cheering section to make it work. ;) john On Tue, 17 May 2005, Don White wrote: >--> >-->John: >--> >-->Is there anyone on this list in the NC area that has volunteered to lead a wrench fest? >-->I live 12 plus hours away. However, if we knew a little more about the Jeep and what it needs, we might have some used parts laying around that we could ship to Michael. Unfortunately, the parts won't be of any help, unless there is some Jeepers in the NC area that will actually turn a wrench. I stick the key in, turn on the ignition, start the Jeep and go to my destination. My initial thought was, ".. gee, that felt different... " . I arrive to my destination and couldn't turn it off. The ignition was stuck. It rattled a little but would not turn back. It's been a little loose but I've never had this. I had to fiddle with it for a while before I finally got the key out. Any ideas on how to fix this? I tried a different key and the same thing happened. If this is anything like my '83 300D ignition, I know I need to fix this now.
