I have a magazine from Joe Richardson from the XJ list that has an article about a nice Full Size Cherokee... (I think the magazine is actually in Chinese...) see: http://wagoneers.com/FSJ/rigs/japanese-cherokee/ anyway, so, it looks like I'll be able to see if he still has it... :) http://www.offroad.co.jp/frameset.html Well, at least I'll have one thing to do in Japan that will be somewhat interesting... :) john ---- - ------------------------------------------------------------------------- ** http://JohnMeister.com **** http://wagoneers.com ** Snohomish, Washington USA - where Jeeps don't rust, they mold ** http://freegift.net *** http://greatcom.org/laws/languages.html ** - ------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 28 Jul 2005 08:26:10 -0700 (PDT) From: john Subject: xj: Re: [db] adventures in Tokyo... do tell me more about things to see in Tokyo, I'm staying at the Keio Plaza Hotel... I fly in late Sunday and immediately have to configure two Sun servers and a Linux server for a technology conference, I'll have some time during the day on Monday and on Friday... maybe time during the week, we'll see. in other news, I'm trying to decide if my next project will a Cherokee Diesel with a 2.4L Benz, or a 4x4 620D. :) The Jimmy comes home today... I'm leaning toward the 620D... john On Thu, 28 Jul 2005, Stephen Rigley wrote: >-->ohhh... you just missed out on a Right Hand Drive Jeep ;-) >-->http://www.offroad.co.jp/used_car/used_car_index.html >-->This is interesting too! >-->http://www.offroad.co.jp/dress_up/dress_up_index.html >--> >-->(oh.. and as far as I can see, that article is in Simplified Chinese >-->which would point to it being a Mainland China publication rather than >-->Taiwanese) >--> >-->Oh, if you are looking for something interesting, get down to Yoyogi >-->park in Tokyo on a Sunday ;-) >--> >-->Steve >--> >-->On 7/28/05, john wrote: >-->> just got word from my contact in Tokyo that she found the "Off-Road Center". >-->> >-->> I have a magazine from Joe Richardson from the XJ list that >-->> has an article about a nice Full Size Cherokee...
