Now I will replace the old one with the '93 ZJ motor sitting in my '84 J10 since the wiring isn't hooked up yet and I can finally finish my stroker buildup). With the recent jumping of fuel costs (and media saying we'll be at $3 a gallon by end of summer), the price of SUV's is dropping like a rock. Only replies I got were from people wanting it for free or the Nigerian fraud squad. I'm hoping to get the perk test (so we can put in septic) and well drilled so I know where I can put in my shop before we have our house built. (priorities! It'll actually save money because all the stuff we have in storage now costs $235 a month) build your truck right the first time! From: john Subject: xj: RE: [WJ-Grand] best venue to sell? and victoria bc just have to get the price right I guess... :) craigslist is where I sold the last couple of jeeps. http://JohnMeister.com/fotos/2006/Victoria-BC-Feb-10/ALL.html saw a cool WJ here, adding pictures http://JohnMeister.com/fotos/2006/Victoria-BC-Feb-10/ALL-part2.html john On F _________________________________________________________________ Don^Rt just search. Jim, If I send you a cashier's check for $3000 for the Jeep will you send me back the difference and I will pick the Jeep up sometime in the Next 5 years. :) Just kidding. I got one of the those when I sold my truck. They were immediately reported. Still have a few hours left here in Victoria BC. The weather was perfect, didn't rain until last night. Have to return the rental car, check out of the hotel and get to the ferry terminal by 4pm. I think we'll end up taking the ferry from Port Townsend and coming up in the Jeep or the Benz next time. One thing I noticed though, Diesel and gas are the same price! $0.939 $CAD/Liter Will do the math later... need to fill up the rental car. Did see it slightly cheaper way out in the sticks, down to 0.869 in some places... but again, Diesel and Gas were the same price, unlike in the states... News here said cold snap and possible snow headed our way too! Already happening in Spokane and Coeur D'Alene with more to come. I managed to tear apart the ZJ front D44 I'm parting out (I'm keeping the CV axles and brake calipers/rotors plus the knuckles for an upgrade on my Comanche later) and now have the almost bare housing (still has the 3.55 low pinion gears in it) It has one bent lower arm bracket (not serious, but it's the wrong ratio for my truck anyways), so it's on my spare parts junk pile. The plan was to get the J20 D44 front axle out of my J4000 and into it's place, but that didn't happen (I spent a chunk of time yakking with Brian (B Max) about his Jeepster and possible upgrades, plus showing off some of my collection of parts that I'm trying to get ready for the Monroe swapmeet. It's the Puyallup Earlybird meet next weekend but my van isn't ready to go so I won't make it) build your truck right the first time! http://messenger.msn.click-url.com/go/onm00200471ave/direct/01/ ------------------------------ End of xj-digest V1 #2278 *************************
