Seems that someone was a little over zealous in gaining access to the underhood relays and fuses and snapped the vacuum line. I used a short piece of washer fluid hose to join the two parts together again and now everything is fine (89 Wagoneer LTD) Now all I gotta do is get that stupid ABS system replaced with something that works-at-! The reservoir is in the bumper on the passenger's side (a stupid placement, because the slightest hit and it splits) If the vacuum to the controls is weak for any other reason, the valve may open, but the air flow door won't (and that stupid foam seal can drop onto the core, further blocking air flow.) Lovely...) and managed to break the regular fan shroud.. I have a spare electric fan from an old Jeep that now resides in the dump. I'm thinking about dumping the engine fan and putting the 2nd elec fan in it's place with an ajustable thermostat. Has anybody ever done this. Seems like it should work! - -Don ------------------------------ End of xj-digest V1 #2514 *************************
