I'll be in school when he's down there, may skip a class and if omega is not done go down with the trailer again to retrieve him. BTW, My son is looking for an economy car to use while going to school... anyone with a Diesel 123 in the Oregon-Washington area selling one? Or maybe a Rabbit Diesel... limited budget, doesn't have to look nice, just run well. I think he'll sell his '90 xj, or has already... not sure if he'll part with this '74 javelin or not yet... wants to put an economical engine in it... I'm considering everything from a perkins Diesel through a WJ 4.7L V8 in Superdawg (83 J10 stepside)... oh what fun... :) on the road again.... later, john ----- - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Snohomish, Washington -o|||||o- where Jeeps don't rust, they mold http://freegift.com ** http://wagoneers.com ** - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 29 Dec 2007 12:47:08 -0800 (PST) From: john Subject: xj: gearing found out that the '67 J100 Panel has 3.07 gears... http://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/car/518847133.html so, at 60 mph, assuming an OD of the tire at 34", the rpm would be: 1,820 rpm...
