Hi all, Just wondering. I hadn't seen anyone talk about these Patriot Jeeps. I don't think Chrysler has done many favors to our beloved trucks so haven't paid much attention to any of them since about 2000. But I saw this Jeep today on the way home and it looked very "XJ like" in appearance. Once I got close enough it said Patriot on it. I've seen a lot of pics of broken transfer cases on Libertys and they're too small anyway. Anyone think a Patriot is worth any serious consideration? I don't know anything about lifting independent suspensions. Seems like it would be pretty complex and therfore $$$$. The Patriot is the smallest of the Jeep trio with a similar design to the Cherokee and is a four cylinder. Next the Liberty with a six and the Commander with an eight cylinder . If you need a genuine four door off road vehicle, you'll have to go to the Wrangler Unlimited even though they are all trail rated... (except the two wheel drives, of course).. The Grand Cherokee has turned into a Ford Explorer with a Jeep grill. JeepNut wrote: > Hi all, > Just wondering. I hadn't seen anyone talk about these > Patriot Jeeps. Allergic to trees...... don't you live in Washington??? You need to move down here to the southern great plains. Actually we do have trees in Oklahoma, just not as many as some of you other guys. We just have a lot of wind, to stir up the pollen that we do have. People with allergies suffer greatly here.
