I may put the electric pump back on the system and try to crank that way to help it... an engineer friend is in town from Detroit, he was on the original FSJ list when I started it, finished his mechanical engineering degree at Boston University... drove across the country in his Grand Wagoneer in 1996 and visited... he used to work for jeep or chrysler, got laid off, very bitter about the whole automotive world and detroit... in seattle taking a home inspection course and will be living in new mexico... he's going to church with me and my son and then will come over after and work on my jeep with me for a while... hoping to have it running tomorrow... picked up the exhaust flange and will jury rig a 2.5" pipe into the original muffler... will do the 3" later. will resume wiring tomorrow in daylight, was starting to get cold out, almost freezing even. :) I figure he can help with a few of the mechanical items while I'm doing the wiring... :) I'm glad I didn't try to work on this thing right after the skin cancer surgery... I would have torn my stitches... have hit my ear a number of times this evening on a number of things... :) john ----- - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Snohomish, Washington -o|||||o- where Jeeps don't rust, they mold http://freegift.com ** http://wagoneers.com ** - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- there's a solution for every problem; problem is can we afford the solution? - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ End of xj-digest V1 #2734 *************************
