I pulled some muscles in my calf pushing my '91 GW out of the carport last weekend so I haven't been able to replace the injectors and vacuum pump on the 6.2L Diesel yet... waiting for a friend to help. looks like I'll be keeping my '91 300D and continuing to run WVO and BioDiesel... picked up 9 more gallons yesterday... :) john Gas prices soar; Diesel hits record high from: http://www.komotv.com/news/local/16148392.html Soaring Seattle-area gas prices showed no signs of slowing down as they climbed to within two cents of record levels on Saturday. Diesel prices hit record highs in many parts of the state, including the Seattle area. The average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline was $3.45 per gallon in the Seattle-Bellevue-Everett area. That's only two cents below its record high of about $3.47 per gallon, set on May 14 last year, according to AAA, which tracks fuel prices across the nation. A year ago, regular unleaded was selling for $2.55 per gallon in the Seattle area. A month ago, it was $3.04. The average price of diesel fuel in Seattle was $3.82 per gallon on Saturday - nearly a dollar more than it was a year ago. Elsewhere in Washington state, a gallon of regular unleaded was going for $3.47 a gallon in Bellingham, $3.42 per gallon in Bremerton and Olympia, and $3.40 per gallon in Vancouver. The cheapest place to buy gas in the state was in Spokane and the Tri-Cities, where it was selling for $3.31. Nationwide, the average price for regular unleaded was a little over $3.16 per gallon. In parts of California, premium unleaded gas was selling for more than $4 at some stations. The average price for premium gas in San Francisco was $3.91 on Saturday. The soaring gas prices stem from tight supplies and from near-record high prices for crude oil, experts said. ----- - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Snohomish, Washington -o|||||o- where Jeeps don't rust, they mold http://freegift.com ** http://wagoneers.com ** - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 2 Mar 2008 16:15:24 EST From: Moontanman-at-aol.com Subject: Re: xj: fuel prices In a message dated 3/2/2008 11:17:59 A.M. We actually import refined gasoline and ship out crude oil to be refined over seas and shipped back to us!! Michael Hissom aurea mediocritas **************Ideas to please picky eaters.
