The passenger side front tire is wearing badly after only a few hundred miles. I tried to check and repack the wheel bearings but it would seem a hydraulic press is needed to get to the wheel bearings and the tie rods are bad. Is a hydraulic press need to get to the wheel bearings or is it just too tight for me to remove? Old truck paid for but fixing things that are wrong has almost become worse than a new car payment. What kind of gas mileage should I be getting on this Cherokee? 4.0 HO part time four wheel drive. I seem to be getting a little over 14 miles to the gallon is this about right?
