Bought my '92 brand new, now at 263Kmiles, should turn 264 next week, and I've never had any trouble at all with that heater valve. weird.... I've been working too much this week to have checked, but may get to this weekend between pulling a heater core on the SJ, and installing a fixed radiator, then the dreaded new tailgate switch and a wedding to attend.... whoever arranged this working concept got it backward.
