The station was offering $3.82 per gallon if paying with cash, so we both stopped there at the same time. My pump said I pumped 5.130 gallons into my car, and the other pump said it pumped 5.223 gallons into the other car. These pumps are at the Citgo station in Accord, Ny. Anybody else find pumps being incorrect in their area? I have the pictures, but can't attatch them. John, can we upload these? There are camcorders with composite video inputs that will allow you to connect a cctv camera to them and record. Now I can prove "they" have no integrity. I am also going to fill out a FOIL form for my DMV records that show when I was pulled over to prove a pattern with the NYS troopers and sherrifs. LOL NEW YORKS FINEST! Only takes a moment.*** Hi everybody. I am sure most have forgotten, as I almost have, about my OBD2 '89 XJ project with a '99 XJ engine and emissions. I have a couple parts that I still need and then I think it will be near completion, minus the interior. The parts I am looking for are as follow: 1. Exhaust Downpipe. I cannot find this anywhere. I don't want to get a junkyard one, but might have to. 2. Ignition switch spring. This is the spring that makes the ignition key spring back to "RUN" from "START" so the key does not just stay in the "START" position. 3. Gas tank straps with hardware. The gas tank I have is from a '99 cherokee and my body is an '89 cherokee. Everything is perfect, minus the tank straps which are not there. The tank is being held up by jackstands but I cannot drive it like this. Safety first, right? 4. Radiator. Not sure which years will fit, but I imagine any XJ open system radiator will fit. Must be automatic. 5. OBD2 port. Yes, I forgot to pick this up from the donor vehicle I took the harness from. I only need the plug and atleast 1" of wire. Questions: 1. Can anybody tell me (on their open cooling system) if there is a valve under the hood to close the heater core? 2. Can anybody tell me (on a closed cooling system) if there is a valve in the cabin to close the heater core? I am unsure about this. My '87 has an external valve, but has vacuum hoses going through the firewall next to the heater core pipes. Same way on the '89, minus the external valve because I ripped it out two years ago. Everything is exactly the same as it was two years ago when I put this project on hold. I am pumped about finishing it now, especially since I am considering selling the '87 XJ with 33x14.50s and factory Dana44. Don't worry, you all will be notified. Please, Please let me know if anybody has these parts laying around. Status: The engine is in, tank is in, emissions crap is in. Engine starts perfectly, have my MSD 6A connected, tach responds instantly, battery charges. I am using the original '89 transmission computer. I already have the electric switches to control gears so I figured I would keep them. Also have the torque converter lockup switch. So pretty much the '99 ECU will only know that the engine is running. It will not know how fast the car is going, what the battery temperature is, which gear the tranny is in. Kind of like MegaSquirt but stock ecu. If I only knew about MegaSquirt when I started this project. That would have saved hundreds of wiring issues. I literally took three wire harnesses and made one. I will have pictures of all of my progress posted someday. John, can I email these to you to put in Jesse85?
