Got the XJ to start first time this morning (it was taking 3 attempts at least previously), I replaced the copper washer on the injector of #3 cylinder, it fixed my "hard to start" issue (yay!). While I'm on the subject.. why would one cylinder without compression cause the other 3 not to fire? Thinking about selling our '96 Diesel XJ Sport for something like a '97 E-Class estate.. (Petrol or diesel), anyone had one of these? Any comments on it? I know the paint is a bit thin compared to a W123 or W124 which has a knock on effect of rust on front wings + bonnet lip.. anything else in particular to look at? This caught my eye.. http://www.carzone.ie/usedcars/index.cfm?fuseaction=car&carid=1205040 Steve ------------------------------ End of xj-digest V1 #2875 *************************
