I'll end up with two transmissions when I'm done... one TF727 with the round / SAE#4 bellhousing and the jeep tailshaft, and a Jeep TF727 case with a Scout Dana 20 output shaft... for sale... both trannies are good. Then on Friday I plan to head down to Centralia with the round one, drop it and the adapter pieces off, pick up the Scout T19/DAna 300 and then head down to Salem to test drive the SD33T that's still in the scout, and at the same time deliver the T19/D300 to a guy flying up from the bay area in California... :) one of my friends from the cj-10 list is sending the thin metal part up to centralia later this week. (thanx David!) The scout engine will get pulled and delivered to Centralia in a few weeks... (the guy has family up near Olympia and is happy to deliver it to curtis... gotta love these Diesel dreamin' adventures. so many friends, so many parts... it's pretty cool how complex the timing can get on piecing things together... gotta love the internet, cell phones and interstates... :) well, two days more until my daughter's wedding, I'm hiding up in the bedroom with the a/c on avoiding flowers... :) so far so good... all is going remarkably well. very happy that my sister in law was able to come and help. john ----- - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Snohomish, Washington -o|||||o- where Jeeps don't rust, they mold http://AMSOIL.com/redirect.cgi?zo=283461 http://creationwiki.org http://johnmeister.com http://wagoneers.com http://fotomeister.us - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------ Date: 29 Aug 2009 00:28:18 +0000 From: "=?utf-8?Q?Marc_Zylka_=28via_Flickr=29?=" Subject: xj: =?utf-8?Q?=5bFlickr=5d_Marc_Zylka_wants_you_to_see_something?= Hi Everyone, My camo paint job is done. Check out the pics at the attached link. The only thing left is to do something with the wheels. I see three options: 1) paint the aluminum wheels 2) paint used steel rims flat black and apply 3) buy new black rims. What do you think? Marc Z in NC.
