My 89 Wagoneer LTD had a similar power-seat issue...no power...tried to trace the problem, but didn't have the patience! I just tapped power off of the fuse panel and run the power seat from that! The passenger seat runs under it's own power...I suspect that there is a bad relay or something...Like I said, I didn't feel like tracking down the culprit, and the bypass was an easier fix! Besides, if the power seats don't work, the car won't pass safety inspection here in Virginia!
