Yeah when I did that on our Jeep, it was an amazing difference. Still miss that old Jeep, and still looking to replace it. I've seen two issues related to the TPS. Only other show stopper in my experience has been the CPS. Never had a problem with the EGR... the 4.0 is pretty easy to deal with... modular for the most part... I'll take a 4.0L over any of the AMC v8s or carb'd equipped engines... CPS; only been through one so far, though losing that while in the first lane of the freeway at speed with traffic ahead and behind and a semi to your right can be an eye-opening experience. EGR? never heard of a problem with that system,... i did replace all replace all the orifices and hose as part of the service kit some years ago, but was surprised to find out how clean everything was when i took it out.
