Here's what it cost me in parts: RE6030 3-1/2" Lift 465.00 DT3000 Doestch Shocks 125.00 RE1807 SYE (Cut and Tap) 80.00 RE1898 CV Drive Shaft (29") 250.00 RE1550 Front Brake Lines 52.00 RE1600 Adjustable Track Bar 99.00 I've been happy with the lift with the exception of the bushings in the LCAs. The original RE LCAs failed in less than 2 years (on-road driving only). RE acknowledged the problem and were generous enough to sell me new bushings. Had to find someone with a press to get the old ones out and put the new ones it. The replacement bushings didn't last any longer. RE again acknowledged the problem and volunteered to do nothing to remedy the problem. As you can imagine, it's not too good for tire life either. There are a good number of discussions regarding this issue in the 4X4 forums. Might search for "RM42042" and "neoprene", the part number and material of the new bushings that they will be so gracious to sell you if you are fortunate enough to have purchased their previous inadequate bushings. Unfortunately, I have not been able to identify any other LCAs that will last any longer without sacrificing ride quality. This seems to be a common issue for joints that are constructed this way. I'd love to hear suggestions. - -- Loeb Mobile: 510-551-5087 mailto:loebotomy-at-gmail.com 1977 C-27 #3178 ~ ~ ~ (\_~ ~ ~ 1996 XJ "Never doubt that a few committed individuals can change the world. The fenders were sawed, and it sits on 33x10.5s. Believe it or not, it handled surprisingly well, and would easily keep up with the 89 on rock hard bridgestones in the twisties... Until I put a lunchbox locker in the back. Now it's a nervous little toad. When I build my time machine and go back in time and fix all my past mistakes, I'll either put a less abrupt detroit in the back or something selectable. LCA bushings haven't been a problem, but they might be the already upgraded ones. UCA bushings, OTOH, don't last long, but I use the rubber factory style ones since they seem to flex a bit better.
