I contacted them (koch) about the aw4 a few months ago, they didn't know much about it but have started a project with the smaller 32re or whatever came in a wrangler. That adapter may work for the aw4. Anyone able to contact the guy with the xj to find out how it was mated? __john_at_http://wagoneers.com__ - -----Original Message----- From: Travis Barnard Sender: owner-xj-at-digest.net Date: Tue, 1 Nov 2011 15:58:49 To: Reply-To: xj-at-digest.netCc: cj-10 list; ; diesel-benz list; full size jeep list Subject: Re: xj: Re: [db] a mercedes Diesel XJ, some assembly required? I tried sending koch industries an email asking how they mate up to the aw4 and have not received a response. My guess would be that it works just fine since I have been seeing more and more of this particular combination on the internet. Jerry, also found out the same thing about water heaters... we have a 27 year old water heater, it works fine... doesn't leak (we have excellent water on the green side of the mountains up here in the PNW as one would expect)... I talked to plumbers, builders, friends, romans and countrymen... word on the street was that the new ones will last about as long as the warranty.. so I've moved stuff away from the base of the heater so I can do a visual daily on this one... ...anyone know where I can buy a water detector alarm? :) I'm not going to spend that kind of coin to replace something that is working for something that won't for long... john ----- - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -o|||||o- fahrvergnugen y'all Snohomish, Washington - where Jeeps and VWs don't rust, they mold http://AMSOIL.com/redirect.cgi?zo=283461 TRSTGZS http://JohnMeister.com HTTP://WAGONEERS.COM http://fotomeister.us - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ On Fri, 4 Nov 2011, Jerry Kaidor wrote: # > I couldn't agree more with this guy's sentiments... # > # > http://www.edn.com/article/519804-What_quality_is_and_isn_t.php # > # > Jim # > # Amen. # # I've just been investigating this very subject.
