DOES ANYONE KNOW what type of speedo gears are used in the WJ and newer jeeps? when did they quit using the kind found in SJ, XJ and CJ? I prefer analog gauges... in order for digital to work you have to have a delay in the system so the reading is stable... Jeep SJ: need to double check to make sure the alternator is ok, maybe change the oil... Jeep XJ: daughter's going to bring her '97 country over, need to open the rear hatch... found info on line that talked me through it... will try to take pictures and build a page... none of the forums had pictures, most of the descriptions were quite vague. trying to decide if I should mount my spider spikes or not... it's been crisp... and it's only February... but you can see stuff starting to come up in the gardens... the snow level looks to be around 2,000 feet... so we're at risk until mid-March of another "dusting"... since I'm missing a wheel cover maybe I will set it up... that might guarantee no more snow...
