Date: Tue, 24 Dec 1996 23:03:21 -0500 From: Widetrac80-at-aol.com Subject: Re: '79 Wag Carb Help If the solenoid controls the throttle shaft then its an AC compressor/idel compensator, it comes on wit the Air conditioning to offset the drag of the compressor, It hooks up to a wire spliced into the wire going to the AC compressor's clutch If the solenoid is in the back of the carb, its a autolite 2150, not a 2100, although they are identical other than the solenoid, its an altitude compensator...Im not real sure what this one does, but I think it only had 1 wire going to it..Sorry I dont remember much about this carb!, I traded mine for a 2 barrel Holley![Back to Top]
