Check with a local motorcycle shop, it's real popular for custom m/c frames etc. VERY durable coating though. Maybe Michael can fill you in on the 'how it's done'. Regards, -jj[Back to Top]

It has 125,000 miles, bad paint and a shimmying front end (at about 55 mph). Other than that it is in excellent shape (no rust). Is this a fair price? Are there any specific problems with this year/model? What should I look for? Any info would be appreciated.[Back to Top]

Powered by a 258, it has a 3 speed. The person is asking $2,000.00. Comments on this? It drives great, gets decent mileage (though not the 40mpg of my wife's Camry) AND will hold my 10'-6" Weber Performer (with hatchet fin) surfboard on the roof w/o my worrying about the car taking off. :-) Rick[Back to Top]

I did not investigate an adapter, but I don't think it would work. Going from a 4V carb to a 2V manifold seems tricky, it would add a fair amount of space between the manifold and carb. You might have to replace the air cleaner with some kind of low profile setup which would have adverse effects to the intake system. Changing the intake is not hard, I went S L O W L Y and did it on a Saturday.
