I have it tucked away.. but need to re install bookmarks... because I had to re format the all my hard drives due to OS Rot.. and massive crashes on win 98.. I'll find it here soon and pass it on.. I'll pass this to other lists as well.. R.J. 80 J-10 Honcho john wrote: > > On Sat, 26 May 2001, Danny wrote: > Danny > > >-->Dear John: > >-->The fuel; guage just quit 0n my truck. Someone was bugging me about selling my Comanche for $2500 with the 4x4 axles I got for it, and that money would go a LONG ways towards fixing up Blackie.       It sounds sweet, but the timing chain rattles a little (what pitch/width is the chain, and is there a speedi-link available?) and the rear pads are 1/8" left. The original owner recently put in a new alt to the tune of $650 (he showed me the receipts. I would have modded in a Delcotron like later model FSJs run easier and cheaper!)       His license expired (he's in his '80s and this isn't FL!) so he has to sell it. Anything major I need to watch for? Even the interior is nice! ************************************* JimBlair, Seattle,WA '84 J10, '86 Comanche http://www.geocities.com/eaglemania2002/ http://albums.photopoint.com/j/AlbumList?u=13998 ************************************** ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 27 May 2001 23:08:08 -0500 From: JeepNut Subject: Re: fsj: Vacuum Delay valves RJ, I missed the first part of this.... Sounds like a belt squeel B&K A locked up air pump would not be too surprizing, if you still have yours. Still a "belt" noise that'll reveal itself if you drop belts like Jim suggested.
