It is Walker acousti/seal exhaust system sealing compound. Works pertty good not soppose to use it on exhaust gaskets, but I have. So I may use that around the heat riser. Also, in the past I fixed a ford 300 six, the exhaust to intake maniford sealing surface. These have to be machined and then bolted together then mating surface to the head have to be machined. So I got some retort, it is used to fix cracks in stoves, wood or pellets burners, good up to 3000 degrees. But you don't take it apart again. 7 bucks virus 100 or so in machining cost. So in about a week or two will be taking the Jeep down to the muffler shop, I will let every one know how we fixed it and how it is holding up. I will let you all know the next couple days, I need to get it running right, plus adjusted when, I leave for Ouray? I will check it in the next few days when I get in to the steering box.. and hose.. to be repaired.. I got it from Auto zone for 159.00 And also need to fix the exhaust leak on the right side.. as well. then I check out the popping sounds from shackle and leaf springs on the front right behind the tire.. does it every time you make a turn, shifting the weight in the front end.. Oh and the cool thing today was , when I was checking the slight leak, on the 727 tranny, , ( it is slowly leaking from the gear shift seal.. so I keep a eye on it ) The tranny dip stick had bent from putting it back and forth from checking it, so I bent it back, well it cracked from metal fatigue ( it was old and pitted a bit ) and literally broke right in half.. So for the last oh.. six hours, calling every place around here, junkyards, dealerships, you name it, i finally found a used one for ten bucks two hrs away, costs ten bucks to ship and a 5 for sur charge.. the dealer ship part # is J5363757, they list the price as 6.60 brand new! But get this! The Dealership says, there are no part like that anywhere in the country, coming or going from any warehouse or depot,.. on it's way anywhere. The availability could take a week, or even months.. but they list it anyway.. seems chrysler does not make it right now.. so I have no choice but to take the used one at the higher price. A stupid tranny dipstick!!!! Watch,.. I'll bet the used one will be screwed up too! If it's not one thing it's another.. I was talking to Mr. white at "White Carb " here in Huntsville, the last of the great carb shops that has been in business for a hundred years, and is a real live guru of carbs.. He is THE guy you go to around here.. when he talks.. you listen... And this is what he had to say about the after market fuel injection system... "The after market fuel injections is a lot of Expensive hype, that is not all that it is cracked up to be, and is a complete waste of money," he said. "One of the biggest problems is the fact that the "System" has to many ways to mechanically adjust it, in different areas, thus has to many variables, and is not computer controlled like a factory model made specifically for that specific engine.". Too many things to get out of whack, very easily.." No solid state computers" "I know allot of people who has plunked down a few thousand bucks thinking they was getting a better performance and better gas mileage, when in fact they was really not much better off then when they were when they had the original stock carburetor." "I think If you keep your power valve replaced ( which is the only big flaw in the motor craft 2150 ) every couple years, a properly tuned carb can last for many years". He said it was much better to stick with the stock carb I had. They are cheap to rebuild too.. ( 50 bucks for the kit including power valve,, complete with instructions, even I could do it.;) R.J. I resemble those remarks! (and I'm from Canada!) Some good and some bad memories associated with that stuff. 1: Yes, but more than 1/2 have their names engraved on headstones already ( from drinking driving related accidents of a class of 800 students) 2: Sort of. Honor, Husbandry or something. How about FFA? (I grew up with horse clubs, Cloverdale Rodeo and Calgary Stampede as well as others) 3: Our pasture was the source of many parties (we reminisced about them at my father's funeral) 4: We used to drag main! 5: First time was when I wrote it on the bathroom wall with lipstick (couldn't sit for a week after my dad found out!) 6: We ALWAYS partied at Cultus lake when "Cornflakes" was on duty. He used to steal, uh "confiscate" most of our party booze stash and get drunk till we fixed him! (posted that about a year back) 7: Worst was getting caught stealing my mom's cigarettes (and it was really my little brother, who stuck them in my coat!) 8: Went to the "trails" Never near the barn or we would have been skinned alive like a neighbor that was caught smoking inside! 9: Oops! My ex-wife was from Delta/Surrey boundary, but originally from Toronto. (called her yesterday to bug her about our 25th anniversary that wasn't. She whined about not getting flowers when my son tapped her on the shoulder and handed her the black silk roses I ordered! LOL!) 10: It was party week, but everyone traveled in their cliques. 11: Nelsons were next to the school, and Wayne Anderson was my best friend growing up. 12: Our previous farm is now Surrey golf course. 13: My ex-wife is Wayne's ex-GF! 14: As long as it's not green, I'll drive it! 15: What does a Surrey kid get for Christmas? A Langley kid's bike with a paint job! What does a Surrey girl do in the morning? She gets up, gets dressed and goes home to her old man and kids! 16: I live in a 1940 house intentionally. Nuff said? 17: I've always been Jeans (preferably Black) and tee-shirt. 18: Not necessarily in that order! (but it depends what time of day!) 19: That was often me. I drove the farm truck to school -at- 13 YO or rode my horse till I got a bike. 20: No way I could get out of hauling hay. At 13 YO I was almost 6' tall (taller than my dad) and I could throw 150lb bales of alphalfa/timothy mix to the top of the trailer (about 10 feet) Gawd I wish I was in that shape now! (people look at me and wonder how I was able to bench press the car off that fell on me!) 21: We were so poor, we didn't have a light till I was in my teens! 22: Or they tried to run you over (just for fun!) 23: I was the oldest! My brother got "Oh no! Not another Blair! Even funnier was when my kids got one of my old teachers! LOL!) 24: See 23 25: Still can! Still have a charge account at the gas station. Just write it on my tab! (book is about 35 years old now and nearing full!) 26: We had Dog & Suds but the Arches came close when I was in High School. (I worked for Dairy Queen and ate at McDs. 10 Macs, 4 large fries, 2 chocolate shakes and I went back for pie! They serve pizza and veggie wraps there now) 27: It is now due to traffic, but used to take that long to walk there! 28: It was normal to see a bunch of kids pushing an old man on a mower to the gas station (just for fun) 29: But never on an electric fence! (got my little brother to do it) Stinging nettles were also bad! 30: Mine was (like I'm going to tell you!) 31: Going to share with ALL my friends!
