When is it again? I'll head over to I-5 and wave as he goes by... :) He sent me a link to his website showing some of the stuff he was doing. Gotta find a Mopar list. Rented a car hauler and in the morning I'm gonna get it with my FSJ (mandatory content satisfied.). It is very straight, has some surface rust and needs lots of TLC. BTW, I think I finally found a stiff enough material to replace my headliner backing with. Will be finishing that in the next several weeks so I can put my Sunroof in! I haven9t really checked the scale, it looks massive on paper, but not sure how it compares to say, LA. I do wish I had my Grand Cherokee for this trip. I9ll miss the nice seats and the 3bulk2. At least this Grand Prix has a cruise control and a remote radio control on the steering wheel. :) I9ll be visiting with a Dr. friend in Falls Church, then driving through and taking pictures, not sure if I9ll have time to stop and visit any tourist traps. Not afraid of big cities... :) Not even sure what a big city is any more. LA, SF, Chicago, NY, Paris, Amsterdam, Rome, Frankfurt, Seattle... Snohomish... ??? :) Might also try to visit U of Maryland Campus either on the way down or out. Need to get out of here early in the morning, better call it a night. :) Appreciate the insight, if I have time I will try the park and ride solution. Traffic is relative I guess. Out here in the middle of PA they talk of the big traffic jam... I9ve spent more time trying to get out of my driveway. rofl... Driving out of Newark and seeing NYC across the way, made me think about perceptions of places. I9ve driven through the worst places imaginable in LA and Chicago, yet I still have this fear of NYC. Not sure why. But on my way out I may drive through it on the way back to the airport at Newark to deal with it. Maybe it9s my perception of New Yorkers. I9ve got several friends from there, but still, it just doesn9t come across as the friendliest place on the planet. :) I9m not thrilled about driving through Baltimore or DC either. This will be a therapeutic adventure for me. john - - ------------------------------------------------------------------------- ** john-at-wagoneers.com often via PINE on Linux ** (prefer plain text emails please!) ** http://wagoneers.com ** ** http://freegift.net ** Snohomish, Washington USA - where Jeeps don't rust, they mold. ...and remember, leaving life without Jesus just isn't recommended... - - ------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 06 Apr 2002 11:51:36 -0600 From: "R.J.
