THose Edelbrocks are nice, but they're AIR-ed and that's not necessary here. Besides, I'm going to EFI, even if a GW WAS the last production carb'ed vehicle. A lot of the emissions stuff will be gone anyhow. soooo.... Ball Joints top the list. I've got the FSM MR-253 and looking things over, see that this will be fun. But I'm sure it's doable. I've got some pullers, etc that I think I can use for this task. Anybody who has done this before feel free to give me some advice. Since the axles have to come out, I may as well replace the Ujoints. Cheap and easy while I'm in that far. Anything else that is cheap or logical to do while I'm in there besides the ball joints and ujoints? Pics in the manual shows what looks like a 2arm puller to do the ball joint removal and reseating. Anything special about this puller or will a standard 3/2arm 3.5 ton puller from AutoZone do the trick? I see there is a special plate they use for the job. Nothing special, I think I'll just make my own from a piece of 3/16 steel or something similar. J.C. or anyone else that has done this before please feel free to offer your wisdom. Thanks!
