Joe, if you can't move enough volume, you won't build pressure! Maybe this is just a Wide Open Throttle issue, but the two are inversely proportional. As volume goes up, pressure goes down. I think you'll be fine. - - Landon >I have about $30 into it so far into my EFI conversion. My buddy is >giving me his fuel pump from his XJ. I couldn't decide between the NP219 and the NP242 in superdawg, my '83 J10 Stepside, but thinking about all the wet roads it makes sense to have the full time. :) >Love the pictures of the Wagoneer in the snow. I did have to back up and run into the snow bank a few times though. :) Remember too, that this was going UPHILL. And, just another 30 feet to the left of that picture, AFTER I cleared a path, my neighbor's Dakota 4x4 got stuck and I had to pull him out too. :) GOING UP: http://www.wagoneers.com/.images/halfway.jpg The picture by the fence was coming downhill... in grass... Seattle scrapyard There is a wrecking yard down the hill from me called Monster autowrecking (because they are just west of the intersecting 3 way corner of Monster road and Martin Luther King way and Sunset in Renton, WA) They have an '85 GW that is mostly complete (interior has been open to the weather and the body is ruined by another car set on top, but it had a wreck before that) Prices are quite reasonable. 360 motor $100 (core value, no story) , 727 $100, NP229 $100, front and rear axles $100 each, glass (including tailgate) $50 each. Interior is red and though the seats are not great looking, the backs aren't broken. I don't think the windshield is good. Both bumpers are dented, but the front bumperettes are there along with the brackets for factory foglights (1 case with broken lens is still there) The grill is cracked, but looks sort of okay (I couldn't see the rad) Gas cap is missing and that fender and back door were munched. The tailgate glass will need a torch or tinsnips and a hammer/chisel to get out.
