Hope that new motor purrs for you all the way home. I took mine in to a transmission shop. It starts leaking about 2 days after I drive it and makes a mess, used to be I could go for almost a week. Maybe that nasty front seal, we'll see. It's the first time I've taken it anywhere in the 3+ years I've owned it. OK, I had the AC checked, and tires mounted. Richard has provided us with fantastic free support for years and years... Richard Welty has been providing free list service to gear heads like us for years and years. When I quit editing for a certain sleezy commercial off road type website in 1997 and needed a place to move my fsj and xj lists he was there. When I wanted to start up the diesel-benz list, he was there. If everyone were to kick in $5 to $20 then whatever his financial issue is would be helped. Hey, even if everyone on the list only sent $1 that would certainly be a help! You know the support we've gotten, the reliability, the lack of ads, the lack of viruses... the great info we've been able to share... it wouldn't have been possible without him... remember - no ads - no viruses - only two or three "outages" since 1997 that I can remember! Talk about service!!!! And remember, he has never asked for help like this before! Please give what you can, if you can help, please do: Richard Welty Krusty Motorsports Limited P.O. Q: there are two grooves at the end of the axle shaft for the self-locking-hub assembly in the D44...does the snap ring go on the outer-most groove (where it's easy to attach), or do i have to pull the axle shaft outward (and slide the hub stuff inward) to reach the snap ring onto that inner groove? thanks, jeff so-cal This electronic message transmission, including any attachments, contains information from Prescription Solutions which may be confidential or privileged.
