The guy is planning to get some pics to me and I'll pass those on for you. If anyone else knows of any Jeep Duallys (flatbeds, stakes, tow trucks) please snap some pics, get the VIN and year and let me know how to get in touch with the owner if possible. Error messages like this result when someone sends something to the list and they're not subscribed. HOWEVER, it's NOT YOU Jim. It's some poor unsuspecting Outlook using FOOL that has contracted one of the many Microsoft Viruses that has your email address in their contact book. The virus uses emails in the outlook contact/address book and sends them out as that person. However, the list knows who really sent it, sees the misconfigured address and the payload and stops it at the door... resulting in a bounce sometimes to the mail-relay agent. So, don't be a fool, use something other then microsoft outlook. Try Eudora, or Thunderbird, or netscape mail or PINE or elm or mailx or carrier pigeons. ;) Almost all of the problems we face right now relate to either Internet Explorer, Outlook or other weaknesses in microsoft's operating systems. As a desktop standalone system they struggled, put 'em on a network and the internet and all kinds of glorious things happen... Where do you want to go today? ;) So, bottom line is these error messages indicate that someone with your email address in their outlook email has a virus and is sending emails to everyone in their book. The list on digest.net is smart enough to realize that it isn't from you and bounces the message. The mail relay agents aren't smart enough and bounce it back to you. So, find that delete key and use it. Life on the internet in the glorious age of Microsoft supported worms, viruses and other features... FWIW, Thunderbird is working great... It is handling the spam quite nicely on my wagoneers.com email address and files messages from my FSJ friends into designated folders for my reading pleasure... Jim, you have your own folder! ;) BTW, MLC I should have the J10 home in a week or so! I think I'll call it "mortgage payment", because that's what it will become when I'm all done with it, still no full time job. :) later, john Jim B wrote: > Still getting bounce message from the digest.net list? > > This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification. > > THIS IS A WARNING MESSAGE ONLY. > > YOU DO NOT NEED TO RESEND YOUR MESSAGE. > > Delivery to the following recipients has been delayed. > > fsj-at-digest.net > > - -- ---- - ------------------------------------------------------------------------- ** john-at-wagoneers.com ** Snohomish, Washington USA - where Jeeps don't rust, they mold. ** trust Jesus ** - ------------------------------------------------------------------------- The revolt is underway, the penguin is coming...
