(as an aside, i don't know how you feel about keeping the high-res pics, but to me, they're a bit overkill even with my broadband connection. full screen size pics are just fine. and, i know that changing pic sizes is a time consuming task in itself, and at over 6K pics, you've got a job on your hands!) i constantly battle with myself to be discretionary as to what pics i post. i try to post pics that show as much as possible in one shot instead multiple shots of sequenced events. makes for better navigation. i also keep those detailed sequential pics in my own files for reference or in case someone is looking for more pics than what i have posted. another suggestion is to go to thumbnails. it lets the user sift through a bunch of pics quickly and find the one(s) that they're looking for. again, i know, that's a time eater to compose. to start with, why not just categorize the tech pics into logical groups? like start with 2 main groups for Superdawg: body and chassis. then, break down the body into interior/exterior components. then electrical, accessories, etc... then, with the chassis, start with motor work, tranny, 'case, then on to axles. maybe even frame work. you could almost get by with not even moving the files you have. just generate a few menu pages to break down the categories into the subcomponents, and then hyperlink the last item in the menu (transfer case, for example) to the listing of pics about 'case work. simple, aye?!?!?!?! :-D Neal A. Sheesh, all the winner type Jeeps keep getting replaced... SJ, XJ and now the WJ. The only thing I don't like about the WJ, but got used to, is the visibility. I love the FSJ "panascopic vision". Sit in an older Grand Wagoneer and you'll see what I mean.... But otherwise, there will probably be a WJ in my drive again within a year. I'm thinking that if my '83 J10 stepside project isn't done by fall I'll sell the '96 4.0L out of the XJ and get real serious about a Diesel for it. :) My daily driver now is a '91 300D with a 2.5L Turbo Diesel.
