Mt. I got this crazy idea... put the 300cd on the Jimmy chassis... (his website is http://www.realfuel.com but it's currently being upgraded) He and his friend were on their way to Canada to learn more on conversions. His buddy is the one putting Mercedes diesels into Toyotas in CA. with the XJ disappearing down to AZ tomorrow and my GMC Jimmy returning from the monster garage in centralia... and news of another 300cd... I got this crazy idea... put the 300cd on the Jimmy chassis... The NP208 may be locked into low range, but the lever rotates either forwards or backwards to engage high and 2WD range. (It won't go anywhere if you hit neutral or 2wd since it only works through the front output) I believe they have a plate set inside that locks them into low range...
