Jeep developed most of what is out there in the "suv" market long before it became popular... it really irritates me when writers in the 4x4 world fail to mention or realize that. Read one article on 4x4 history and there was no mention of the Wagoneer or Gladiator, first thing that popped up was the Bronco and the Blazer... sheesh... The guy writes 4x4 books too... I should have bought an NP242 and paid to have a SYE (slip yoke eliminator) installed... oh well... I still think you'd be better off getting a GM xfr case to mate to you 700R4.
