(w/o reasons listed). the 4.0, which has been the plan since 2001, still seems to be holding it's own... If you want a Jeep pickup, then I think you should by a "Brute" from American Expedition Vehicles and scrap the J10. Check out their web site at www.aev-conversions.com This is the place I refered to before, when I asked if anyone had ever heard of American Expedition Vehicles. The way it works is, you buy the wrangler from them, which they get from a dealer brand new, and convert it to how ever you tell them. The neat thing is that all of their convertions are covered under the factory warranty from Chrysler. Go to the web site and check out the WK on their home page. This is the WK that I was refering to getting when I return from Iraq in 18 months. They are the ones that gave Chrysler the idea for the Unlimited. AEV has been building a long wheel based Jeep Wranglers for years. Now if they can sell Chrysler on the idea to build the Brute pickup, I would buy one of them as well. I kno! w everyone >--> says that a Jeep is built not bought, but I think I would be ok buying a Jeep from these guys, finished. I would think that we all could find ways to make it our Jeep when we got it home, and then you could say, you built it. When you buy a Jeep from these guys, they want you to fly out to them and let them show you how to use it. They are located in Washington, I think. If you want a Jeep pickup that no one else has, and you want it to tow a lot, the Brute has one ton axles under it, then I think you should buy a Brute. I don't want to put that fan into the radiator... I think it'll be fine... Bah, don't measure; it's guaranteed to fit. If you get the fan installed and the shroud doesn't _seem_ to fit around it, just leave the shroud off, start the engine, and then shut the hood. The fan and other parts will "settle" and automatically adjust to each other. If you're lucky, you may even find that you have a special "self-venting hood" that automatically opens some slots for better ventilation when some non-stock fans are used. This is an undocumented feature of some Jeeps and is a highly-sought option.
