Was daily driver until water pump went out and water loss began. Does not overheat - just loses water. Bought at auction, I drove for about 30K miles without a problem. Dash is not even cracked - 27-28 mpg at 70 mph on the trip to W.VA(2200 miles round trip). 1975 240D/4speed - overheats. Bad head gasket or head. No desire to fix. 1982 240 parts car - bad motor but excellent interior/exterior. Bought for parts but decided it was too nice to part out. No title. 1979 Wagoneer - 360/TH400 starts and moves but that's about all I know about. Wife always wanted one then we found this one. 1985 Volkwagon Jetta Turbo diesel - bad motor. Bought at auction, was going to fix but have decided to transplant a VW diesel into one of my Omnis/Rampages instead. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6284&i tem=2489505926 Pics available - all are located in Little Elm, Texas 75068 Waylon Black Little Elm, Texas - -----Original Message----- From: john [mailto:john-at-wagoneers.com] Sent: Friday, December 03, 2004 11:46 AM To: Black, Waylon Cc: diesel-benz-at-digest.net Subject: Re: [db] ANOTHER MB for me so, two questions: 1) any spare running 3.0L Turbo Diesels with transmissions? 2) planning a trip to Seattle any time soon? :) john On Fri, 3 Dec 2004, Black, Waylon wrote: >-->http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=450588 5497 >--> >-->Couldn't resist - even with all it's problems, I had to have it.
