The little versions are in http://dan.black.org/Jeep%20Auto%20Showcase/ The mpg is a bit higher quality, but the mp4 is 40% the filesize. (Of course, if you can't do Quicktime, go for the mpg.) The mpg is 150MB; the mp4 is 62MB. I'll leave them there at least a few days, probably a week or two, but that is definitely not a permanent location, so if you want to see them or save them, do so now. As you'll see, it's basically just a 28min Jeep ad for the 2005 model line. But if anybody still wants it on DVD, I do already have it set up and ready. It'll cost $5 or $10 including shipping, assuming US48. (And if anybody _is_ reading from outside the U.S., it's NTSC only, though you could always watch it on your computer.) If you really want it, I'll only accept PayPal or cashier's check/money order; email me and we'll figure out details. I'm betting nobody's going to want to bother; you might find it interesting once, but the little versions will show you that much, and I doubt anybody will want to watch it again and again. For one thing, the editing is a bit annoying -- tilted camera angles, really stupid highly-stylized sound... They edit in sounds like tires screeching, and the "Ready, steady, go! Ready, go!" junk that doesn't even match up logicially when they run the GChero tests is _extremely_ annoying. You'll also notice they quietly switch cars on one of the tests (I think it was the BMW they switched for a Nissan... They labeled it, but didn't say anything, and made sure it was a similar-looking white car, and made sure it was farthest from the camera. Heck, I didn't notice it til the second or third time, though I wasn't paying that close attention -- which is exactly what they're counting on.) Anyway, it's not any kind of professional review; it is an ad, no question, and they don't even try to hide it. - ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Love... Y'know, I know people say not to use it because it supposedly doesn't last long enough, but last time I had a squeaky door, I tried the waxy crayon-lookin' door grease that was made for that, and it didn't help, so I finally just sprayed a littld WD-40 in there, and it hasn't squeaked again yet (and it's been a couple years now). People like to say bad things about WD-40, but I still think it's great. If you want to be picky, maybe try some higher-quality stuff (more expensive, too), like Tri-Flow.
