I went and visited Burg Eltz instead of playing on Nurnburgring. ;) We hiked to the castle instead of subjecting my wife to the race track... considering the fact that I could drive as fast as I wanted on the Autobahn it didn't make much sense to go to the racetrack. :) john On Fri, 23 Dec 2005, chuck goolsbee wrote: > --> > --> > -->If I can find the original with the Diesel Jaguar I'll post that too. They were relatively inexpensive for a hard tire...'bout $100 each. I just saw a circular from Costco that says $60 off a set of 4. Think I might go get a set of 4 for the '76 Chero that sits idle...that might give me motivation to get it rollin' again. The road noise is minimal, just turn the radio up about two ticks. The tread is great for the road and aggressive enough for light off-roading. I have several friends with huntin' trucks that swear by them. We haven't lost traction in the rain yet, but TX rain is no match for WA rain, I'm sure. All four mounted, balanced, installed for $100 each...can't beat that. Light rain, mid-50's here in Seattle, some flooding concerns in the usual areas... wife got me an ipod with the road trip adapter... downloading music to it right now fits in the power outlet on the WJ perfectly. Will be great, giving up my MP3/CD deck when Derick get's my 300D... was figuring I'd have to use a cassette adapter in my J10 / WJ to play my MP3s... this solves the problem... better than a CD changer... john ---- - ------------------------------------------------------------------------- ** http://JohnMeister.com **** http://wagoneers.com ** Snohomish, Washington USA - where Jeeps don't rust, they mold ** http://freegift.net *** http://greatcom.org/laws/languages.html ** - ------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ End of fsj-digest V1 #2558 **************************
