I even have rims that I could put them on my Comanche with (but I'd need a LOT more lift and long arms too!) http://www.aircrafttyres.com/images/0103.JPG http://www.garbee.net/~cabell/december/tires/billxl4.jpg build your truck right the first time! _________________________________________________________________ Don^Rt just search. They used Delco (just like GM) which caused people to speculate it was a GM motor (even though it came out before Chev's did) It was a Nash redesign of the Kaiser V8 that took it to the max diameter cyl that the heads could handle. Next step was a lighter designed 290, 343, and 390, which got the RB (raised block) for taller cyls and became 304, 360 and then 401 (with a major redesign and stronger casting of basically the same block) in 1971 when American Motors Corp took over Jeep. NOT a Jeep. it's an AMC 327, the first generation OHV rambler v8. Nothing in common with a chevy 327 other than its displacement and the fact that it is a 90 degree v8. Great engines, but these days, probably a smidge pricey to rebuild. It's likely a two barrel, but there were iron four barrel intakes available in the cars. This generation of AMC v8 also displaced 250 and 287. Forged crank and rods, but the heads somewhat limited horsepower. Great for low end torque, though (which is what it was designed for).
