Have them on my wife's '84 Nissan Maxima wagon. We put 100,000 miles on that car with only a set of tires, set of injectors, an alternator and front brakes replaced although little things were starting to go bad since it had 220,000 on it when we... or rather my wife, traded it in on a Ford. That Ford turned out to be a wreck in disguise so we tried to take it back to the dealer and they had already sold her car for $200 (someone got a screaming deal!) Had some hassle getting our money back (nothing that my loud voice in the middle of a showroom floor didn't get taken care of quickly though!) and went to a different Ford dealer and got the '99 Ranger 4x4 my wife loved. Had it been an automatic, we'd still have it, but she traded that on the '01 Subaru Legacy that has had minor brake probs (squeaks that drove me nuts till I found out ANY pad other than factory will make that noise!) and dumped it's trans yesterday. I think it's related to the accident we had a couple months back when someone banged into the back of the car while we were waiting for a light since it's AWD and the shop says a torsen bearing was overly compressed and ate a planetary. If not, then it may be a manufacturing defect and the car has less than 100,000 miles on it. It's going to cost $2400 to get the trans rebuilt the right way (they do the rebuilds for the dealership and I'm getting it done for $1,000 or so less than the dealer would charge) My wife is convinced not to keep the car now (after all, it can't even go in and out of the driveway at our new place in summertime without dragging the bottom!) Once I find some better seats that we can both stand (I'm tempted to put in a Comanche bench seat! Even the trip to Ouray was comfy in my old one) and swap the 4.0L motor in the '93 Cherokee I bought (I have a new one waiting to be assembled and a high miler but strong running used one sitting in my '84 J10 I can access soon). Then the Subaru will be up for sale. (we'll still owe $9,500 on it once we are done! At least the new trans will have an ATRA lifetime warranty) build your truck right the first time! looking over the recommendation for tires for my '99 WJ it seems that the Bridgestone Revo's are the best of all of them. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Sizes.jsp?make=Bridgestone&model=Dueler+A%2FT+Revo (only question is does Costco or Discount Tire carry them... will check it out. ;) The Michelin LTX's I've used on my XJ, other WJ and SJ don't rate as high. Not sure if Firestone or air ride make any for the FSJ's, but they work real well in the Ford/Chevy/Dodge trucks. Lots of guys with dually's take off the overload springs so they ride better and install air bags to get the towing back they lost with the overloads. I will be doing that this spring with my 05 GMC 3500 Dually CC 4x4 (6x6?) DIESEL truck. Still have my 1980 J10/20, but could not drive it like the GMC.
